Last week, we got an early look at the 1.2.5 update, to give modders time to update their code before the official launch. Now, the official launch of 1.2.5 is here! Curious what's been updated in this latest patch? Check out the notes below:
Changes in 1.2.5:
Added shift clicking support in furnaces
Added method to easily acquire blocks you have selected in the world in Creative mode using the ‘pick block’ key
Made the Direct Connect dialog remember the last IP for the current session
Fixed issues detected certain links in chat
Fixed wild ocelots behaving like tamed cats
Fixed various chat crashes
Made cats less eager to sit on things
Made cats less patient
Fixed world generation failing under certain circumstances
Fixed issues turning off sound under certain circumstances
Removed all ghost entities under the command of Lord Herobrine
Fixed crash when pasting certain characters in chat
Fixed slash ‘/’ key not behaving correctly in certain environments
Fixed command matching being too greedy (for example: typing ‘/stophammertime’ no longer stops your server)
Fixed not being able to click coloured links
Fixed potential issue with village door detection (which could cause too many villagers)
Made using a stack of bowls on Mooshrooms not consume the whole stack of bowls
Made punching a TNT block with flint and steel in hand destroy and drop a TNT block (right-clicking will activate the TNT)
This is an update I'm much more happy with. I'm incredibly happy to see all the fixes that have been made and not new features. You should release the version early every time like you did with this one. Many Mods are updates already, us server owners can prepare for it and even Bukkit came out with a Recommended Build for 1.2.5 already. Please have these 'pre-releases' every time!

I'm glad to see Mojang is spending the 250million-500million dollars it has generated to fix these problems. They obviously were destroying the game from the inside out and nobody could play because /stophammertime was clearly a major issue.
-Major New Content
-Better Platform
-Built in Mod Support / Server Hosting / Multiplayer Experience
These are clearly secondary to what we as players really want, keep spending your millions of dollars on fixing these bugs Mojang, because I sure DONT want a better multiplayer experience or new content!

Nothing. They just released it early for Server Owners, Modders and Bukkit to get ready and update for 1.2.5 when it comes out.
