not just minecraft, everyone thinks people who spend so much time on video games and social media are "nerds", nerd literally means being a fan of something or knowing much about it.. For example a computer nerd = you like using computers, anime nerd (otaku) = you like watching anime, school nerd = have good grades, and since they obsess so much over their hobby, they start to lose social skills, thats why people think they're "ugly nerds" with no life
Because not enough of the hot chicks who surely frequent this forum post pics of themselves in this thread.
Hint, hint.
But seriously, what Stevetheminer15 said. Minecraft is popular enough in general to probably have a similar hot/ugly and nerd/muggle ratio as the general population. It does tend to skew in favor of junior high and high school kids, but they're the ones with the spare time to play a computer game and hang out on a webforum for it. Not all of us are kiddies, though, I'm pushing 40 myself. Ugly nerd....unfortunately, that bit is kinda true. But I do know some attractive people who play the game, so it's not ALL ugly nerds.

Is it just me or does everyone else seem to think others think that, or even have experience thinking this before they started playing?
