Memory is not the issue here, or the crash would say something like "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError" (and 1 GB is the default memory allocated); this is a problem with native code outside of Java ("The crash happened outside the Java Virtual Machine in native code."), in the file "ig7icd64.dll" (after "problematic frame").
That said, I found this bug report that mentions "ig7icd64.dll" with the same crash, which is marked as a duplicate of this bug report (different file), which in turn says this:
The Intel 4 Series (and older) video cards are unable to play 1.7.4 and future versions of Minecraft. You will need to buy a new video card or computer to play new versions.
For now, you can still play 1.7.2 or older versions of the game. To change your game to a different version, start the launcher. Select Edit Profile. In the "Use Version" dropdown menu, select the game version you want. Then click Save Profile.
Having said that, what is your graphics card (there are other versions of Intel graphics as well)? You can follow the steps here to find out (this is for a different error but the bulleted steps are similar).

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
