Face it, Minecraft is old. There are new better games which have way better graphics and are more fun. When do you think people will start playing other games and will realise how bad this 'GAME' is?
look, when the game goes out of style is when Minecraft will die.
but, it commpay, Mojang AB, will think of something better when that time comes. heck, you may not like MC, but you may Cobalt and Scrolls, 2 other games made by Mojang.

Have you ever heard of a games called Doom? Doom and Doom 2 were released in the mid-late 80's and are FPS "puzzle" games where you go around and shoot monsters in a 3D world with 2D sprites. People still play that. People still mod that. So I think that Minecraft will live on for decades just like Doom.

Yes, say it. Minecraft can be cool anyway. If you want to build something, take minecraft.

Right! A day, everybody going to have minecraft, only create another platform! When mojang going to stop minecraft for money reasons, they only need to create another amazing game!
And when minecraft going to die? 3-50 years, assurated.
First of all, Minecraft won't go out of business because Minecraft isn't in business. Minecraft is a game. Mojang AB is the company that makes the game Minecraft.
So there are two possible meanings to your question. One is when people will stop playing Minecraft, the game. The other is when Mojang, the company, will go out of business.
The latter is totally unpredictable. Companies that have just released new, hot, exciting games have gone out of business due to financial mismanagement, management issues, and many other things unrelated to the games they're making. And, of course, most companies whose primary game declines in sales simply produce different games, and continue on quite fine. So there's really not much connection between the popularity of Minecraft as a game and the longevity of Mojang as a company.
The other possible interpretation of your question is when people will stop playing Minecraft because they realize how bad Minecraft is. Well, you're already assuming that tens of millions of people have been somehow deluded into playing a bad game -- me included, by the way, which I take some personal offense at. I've been playing computer games longer than a lot of Minecraft players have been breathing, and I don't find it "bad" at all. Actually, it's quite a good game, and I'm having fun with it.
You said "Minecraft is old" as if, somehow, a game becomes too old to play after two or three years. Aside from the fact that Minecraft-as-it-is-today is less than a month old, Minecraft as a whole has not been around as long as Civilization V, which you can buy on the shelf at GameStop. It hasn't been around nearly as long as CivIV, which I prefer to V. It hasn't been around nearly as long as Master of Orion II, which was published in 1996, and which I still play today, and presumably other people do too. In a store a couple of days ago, I looked at the game list on an Atari Flashback to see if it included one of my favorite old 2600 games (it didn't). You can buy that today full of games that are not just three years old, but thirty years old. And, of course, people still play chess, go, backgammon, and parcheesi, and companies still exist that sell sets for those games, and they're not just decades old, they're centuries old.
The assumptions you're making, near as I can tell, are that people will stop playing Minecraft because it's been around for two or three years, and that as a result Mojang, because Minecraft is the only game it will ever be able to sell, will fail as a company. Both of those assumptions are wrong. Certainly, sales of Minecraft will reach a peak and then decline, not because people have stopped playing the game (most of us are not so shallow as to equate novelty with gameplay) but because most of the people who want to buy Minecraft have already done so. By the time Minecraft sales have declined to the point that they can no longer pay the salaries at Mojang, in all likelihood Mojang will be making the bulk of their money from other games. (you don't think EA went under when the Pinball Construction Set stopped selling very well, do you?)
So Minecraft can't go out of business, being that it isn't in business; it's a game, not a company.
When and whether Mojang goes out of business isn't tied to Minecraft sales, or EA would have gone under decades ago.
And Minecraft players are not the people who are looking for the newest games with the fanciest graphics, so that's irrelevant.

Mid-Nineties. Doom was 1993 and Doom 2 was 1994. The controls are certainly dated but with things like GZDOOM and the Brutal mod, most of those things are rectified.
The idea that old games are bad just because they are old is just fundamentally wrong.

Oh right, I was thinking of something else. My bad.
Similar to The_Pastmaster's argument, consider the original Super Mario Bros. It's a game that's over 25 years old, and while the game itself doesn't have millions who play it daily, it's still popular and well-known, and it does still have players.
I dont know if that is a word but i like it and shall use it. I dont seen minecraft losing popularity any time soon. Especially since its one of the few games that parents can feel safe letting their kids play.

Minecraft will go out of business and the game will stop working on June 24 at 4:35 PM next year. This will cause the start of World War III and the survivors will have to deal with giant spiders and horribly deformed creatures.
I built a time machine to go back in time to recruit people to prevent this from happening. Anybody want to help me prevent this from happening.

The textures are so bad, but minecraft is amazing! If you don't like graphics, download a ressource pack.

The game will never just "disappear". The community will probably continue the game's legacy without Mojang officially developing the game.
