I don't think Mojang or Microsoft ever actually released the details of the contract to the public. But it will expire at some point.
I also don't see why you 'need' to know. It's not going to happen any time soon. And that really should be enough. It's unlikely that it will make it to the PS3. And only slightly less unlikely that it will make it to the PS4. Same with the Wii U.

Humanity is the creation of Logic and Emotion, Calculation and Imagination, Cold Analysis and Blind Faith. This is why I believe it is a strange Human that would prize one while shunning the other. For a calculator can do math just as well as you, but a calculator can not use math to make the world a better place.
Yeah, they're definitely not allowed to disclose that info to the public.
However, I think you can rest assured that it will be released on the PS4, but prolly not the PS3 or the Wii U. Notch has already stated that he's unimpressed with the X1, and that he'll be very interested in working with Sony once the exclusivity agreement with Microsoft expires.
Sony sent Notch a gold PS1 and an invite to E3. It seems they're also interested in making a deal (or already have), and after watching their E3 conference, they are trying to really support indie developers. (Although Minecraft is no longer an indie game to some.)
I've heard that the PS4 supports Java, so that should make it a lot easier to port the game from PC to PS4.
So, I think that whenever the deal with Microsoft is up, it'll be coming straight to PS4. I can't imagine Mojang would pass up one of the biggest group of customers in gaming. And I can't imagine Sony would pass up one of the most popular games ever.
On a seperate note, I agree thatthe PC version is better than the 360 version, but not on my PC. My PC is crap. And I would rather sit on my couch in front of my TV than sit in a chair at a desk. Besides, if the PS4 supports java it could probably have most, if not all of the features and content of the PC version. Except mods. Console developers don't like people running custom code on consoles...
It would be nice if it did come to PS4, considering I don't like XBox and I'm a Playstation fan. But I don't think it would, they'll probably just have it on Xbox. Then again, there is always hope left..
Also, I'm not too sure how the Xbox One is, I've just heard people saying it was bad. What makes it this terrible?
Considering Mojang's issues with Microsoft's taking control away from computer users in Windows 8, I imagine it is a very strained relationship and Mojang will move aether and nether to switch to other consoles given the first opportunity. (On the other hand, I can't imagine working for Sony in a way in which you get to keep your game franchise! Look at what happened to SingleTrac and Naughty Dog's popular games on PS1.)
EDIT 20130821: Now that MC is coming to various Sony contraptions, I still stand by my statement. However, it is possible that Mojang (or their lawyers), being good so far at protecting their rights, were able to notice clauses in the boilerplate contract and get them changed.
If things go as Microsoft wants them to, Microsoft will get the rights to Minecraft don't quote me on that as I do not know the terms of the contract with them, but I do know Bungie did the same with Halo and now Microsoft owns it. But I don't know whats on the contract so I could be completely wrong about this.
The problem with releasing it on all platforms is that you have to recode the entire game from scratch.
The contract won't expire for a long time though.
I'm not sure what programming languages consoles are able to interpret and use, but if they use the same language, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem when it comes to recoding the framework of the game.
Also, I wouldn't say having Minecraft on a console is bad, but it isn't very comfortable, since PC games usually give the user more modification capabilities and control.
