Everytime I try and login to minecraft I get Login Failed. I can make minecraft work by resetting my password but that only works until I logout and when I try to login again it gives me the same Login Failed message.
I even had to buy a new minecraft just to fix this issue before.
What I said was still technically correct, because I didn't say "where are you goingto buy the game." What I said can be applied in past tense... even if it wasnt 100%, c'mon, still good enough for 99% of the people here.
OT; Considering the authentication server is currently running, and you have the real game, have you migrated any accounts or registered with Mojang?
EDIT: Lol, stop being a Grammar Nazi
If it was in the past tense it should have been 'Where did you buy them from?'
OT: I have not migrated anything and what do you mean by registered with mojang?
Currently having the same problem as well. I can log-in via the website but not the launcher. My advice is try removing all java related files and re-installing them as well as .minecraft. Also when i get logged in i get fatal error connections and have to click again to log into a server. Sometimes it lets me other times it crashes. Etherway i'll post back if it doesnt work.
I have downloaded the .exe and when I click on Minecraft.exe (on my desktop) the Minecraft Launcher opens. When I enter my Username and Password in the lower right corner of the Launcher, I get a Login Failed response.
I am able to log in to the Minecraft.net site and have a Mojang Account that is active.
I have not signed up for premium yet, but wanted to look at the game in Demo mode.
