I have a friend who is 13 and his friend who is 12 and they both would absolutely do this so what age groups would like you would sort of allow or, would there be almost no limit?
P.s. I would suggest July
There won't be a limit to age groups xD We had old guys come last year and teenagers who were doing a little dance cause they were excited xD

Vegas? Awesome. I'm definitely coming, as long as I have enough time to plan/pack.
One thing, though. My parents ordered that if they're paying for the tickets (I'm saving up for duke nukem and LA Noire), my little brother has to come too.
That Fort Building CTF thing sounds awesome!
I'll start making my costume right away.
Also, as I did last year, I would be honored to help plan the events and festivities!
Vegas sounds like a good location, but I think the only places that are good for holding conventions are really expensive.
Notch is now discussing to see if he can have a con in vegas... thinking about doing this again as a yearly thing though =3
I would definitely still come to a local, "mini" Minecraft con in Bellevue. Especially one during the summer. Just like a 1-day meet-up, like meeting in a park or a coffee shop. People could play Minecraft on laptops, or dress up, or just show off any Minecraft-related projects (replicas, papercraft, etc). Something for people who don't like the huge crowds, stuffy rooms, and expensive prices of big conventions. Also, I think a summer date works better for many people, and puts it far enough away from the "official" Minecraft Con in Vegas.
11/11/2011 in Las Vegas for $90 is just not practical for me.

Agreed. I think it is just too much and the location isn't convienient at all. I go to Sakura Con in Seattle every year and I pay $50 Dollars.
Now all we have to do is set up a day really and think of some games. This would probably be best on a saturday as well.

I chose other: Hookers. Tons of them. In Creeper costumes. (It'll feel like I'm in my natural habitat)

Food for thought, I'll do some searching.
