I like this. However if you make it so the tool can automatically resize the width and height of the image then it could prove more useful in displaying plans to things such as logic gates or buildings as the forum emoticons are often of different widths which leads to skew-wif plans.
I don't really understand what you mean... the designer page is 3x3 only at the moment, although that may change in the future. It is already possible to make larger grids, as shown by the mcrecipe logo image in the first post. I am really baffled as to what you mean by 'automatically'.
Well, that is rather alarming. I'm driving back right now to check on it. I should be back in about 15 minutes. If its something like the hosting provider locking the account, I have the whole thing backed up and I can move it somewhere else.
Ok, I'm back at my laptop. As I suspected, the account was locked because it was a free hosting account and had reached its bandwidth cap. I'm looking into where I can host it free/cheaply right now. I'm going to try to have it back up and running as soon as possible.
Ok, the problem of the bandwidth limit has been fixed and the subsequent problems have been patched until I can move mcrecipe more permanently onto a desktop at home. Make sure to read the instructions on the first post if you've already used MCRecipe in order to fix your images and insure they will continue to work, even when/if I move the scripts again.
An idea for your site: Andrewph owns a vps and probably could host your site. U could pm him from here or go on irc.esper.net room: #publiccraft
I'd be happy to do this when I get home or when I find a free SSH client for the iPhone. I have unmetered bandwidth on my vps, so it wouldn't be an issue.

The unmetered bandwidth thing sounds good, we'll have to get in touch. Would you like me to send you some instant messenger contact info, or would you prefer email?

Just testing.

Shield:
Haha, I like the sandwich! Although perhaps there should be some sort of bread -> 3x bread slices first. :tongue.gif: That way you could have two slices of bread with meat in-between... rather than two loaves of bread with meat in-between. I like bread, but not that much!
Also, I think the shield recipe could better resemble a shield... like so:
any chance this tool be expanded to add functionality similar to how the forum's smilies are supposed to work, except better?

Matt, seriously, stop trolling. So can you please shut the **** up and go troll the infdev forums about how much you want to get 10 bucks from your hobo house?

I'm really not sure what you're asking for... could you describe how you would like it to work in a different way? I'd be happy to hear your suggestion, but I just don't understand what you mean. :/

the click and drag to construct scenes, and the ability to include more different minecraft stuff than what the smilies allow.
right now i would have to do this to show a mine trap

but with a tool that worked the same way with click and drag i could do it without the nothing blocks and an actually pressure plate sprite. it would look prettier in other words. instead of the crafting table background you could have blue sky fill in whats not there, and have the blocks edge to edge instead of spaced like the tool you have made now. and a much bigger area to put blocks. its only a bit different, but it would be usefull with all the people making crappy representations of their ideas with the smilies.
