I spawned an ocelot and gave it some fish, but it still would not be tamed. Does it have something to do with wolves? Because I had one at the time. How do you tame an ocelot???
I think ocelots are the hardest tamable mob to tame. Dogs are so much more easier because they are more obedient and can't resist their urge to eat meat given by us I guess. Lol :3
if you tamed a wolf before you tried to tame the ocelot it won't work, it happened to me, then when i killed all my dogs sadly... i was able to tame the ocelots, also make sure your doing this in light
You might have buggy minecraft... Have you ever downloaded any mods?

97% of teenagers would cry if they saw Justin Bieber on top of a tower about to jump. If you're the 3% who is sitting there with popcorn screaming "DO A BACKFLIP", copy and paste this as your signature.
It goes though different stages it needs to be natural (im serious) what you do is you crouch and stand still with the fish out and the ocelot will come towards you and when it is comfortable you feed it some fish until it loves you (wolfs are so much easier)

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king
I was having this saaame issue hun. Enter sneak mode with fish in your hand near the ocelots, once it gets close enough, while its sneaking too, spam the button that'll feed it, it should become a cat after that. I had three near me and none of them would tame until I did that
I have found that in survival mode, the ocelots are "crazy". If one is in a confined space with me it claws at the walls and sprints away no matter what. If I saw that behavior in a real cat, I would describe it as insane or terrified. Impossible to tame - less than a 1% chance. As soon as I switch to creative mode, the ocelot calms down and starts walking around, curious about its surroundings and occasionally interested in the raw fish I have in my hand. Maybe a 25% chance of taming. If you can spot 4 ocelots in a day of wandering around the jungle, you might be able to tame one on creative mode. If you were doing it in survival mode, you might need a month to get one. I like the cats but not that much.
After finally taming one on creative mode (it spawned on its own), I tried to lead it to the boat and it got caught under some leaves by a river and drowned:( I used a spawner egg and then tamed another one. Couldn't figure out how to get it in the boat so I put a leash on it and drug it behind me across the water about 1000 blocks, then I thought I would pull over at an island and give the cat a break and inadvertently discovered how to get it in the boat. You put a leash on it, then drag it out in the water in your boat. Come back to land, press shift and walk straight forward. You will then drag the cat directly over the boat. Then you can let go the leash and enter the boat. Note that the cat is in "sit" mode while in the boat so it won't leave on its own. I found it easiest to put a leash on the cat and then drag it out of the boat.
If it's taking the fish, clearly you're using the right type and in the right place. The problem is that ocelots are greedy as hell and you will need to give them upwards of 20 raw cod or raw salmon before you see any results in terms of taming. Check the wiki, that's all I know.

Ocelots tend to tame better when in survival mode, rather than creative mode. I can never get ocelots to tame in creative mode, I always have to switch to survival long enough to get them to come to me and get tamed.

I may be a Beast, a Man, or a Monster - Which one I am depends on your perception of me.
Edit :
*Fish
Put the raw fish in your hand.
Wait for the ocelot to get to you to check the fish.
Give him the fish when it's enough close to you.
Repeat if it don't work.
Mabe you'll have to give 2, 3, perhaps 4 fish to tame it.
It will take the fish, But it has to be sneaking on you or it wont accept, Here are some screenshots i took
mmm

Thanks a bunch! I just needed to crouch I guess. I was getting really frustrated because nothing was working. This did though! So once again, Thanks!
