This is my first post. Hope it's on the right section.
I've just finished making this map. Like the Title say, it's an adaptation of the Team Fortress 2 CTF map 2Fort.
Trying to make this as much close of the original, I can say that it's pretty much the same in proportion and such.
It can be played on multiplayers with any vs mode. It was entirelly made on the creative mode and has no mods or redstone wiring added on it (yet).
RED Base and BLU base pictures
Basically, I made RED use wood and bricks on his buildings wile BLU use clay and stone (both use stone bricks for underground base but using bricks and clay as their team color references).

There's a long area around the map that I covered with as many details of the original as I could. Despite the map have a much area on the outside, the areas besides the original map section cannot be reached*. But, if case it's done (like a player is trowed across any fence or such), the player can return to the map via a long path made just for the case. And, since the map is in the desert, no animals can spawn on it and the torches make it hard for the monster mobs spawn on it (but they still spawn around the bases on the outside).
I'm still planning on make a special mod that add both bases specific detailed blocks (like machines, signs, intell, bombcart, weapons, buildings and resuply cabnet) so I can make it even closer to the original map. The idea is that it will not have just a texture reskin, but many new original blocks to make it work (and it may have a couple things to adapt for a real multiplayer or fixing any area that I don't know yet).
I may add a video showing the map later.
*There's just one place that can lead to the outside of the map without breaking blocks or jumping fences. But tha's not hard to find.
Ah TF2 we meet again I may start regularly playing you again. But great job on all the builds I really like it its so well done it makes me remember the map. Also I may be thinking of a different TF2 map since i havent played it in like 4 months but isnt this the one that has trains running on the outside of it? If it is then you could have a long minecart track with like 4 or 5 minecarts lines up and always going on it but have the hidden part of the track made mostly out of normal rails and just enough power rails to keep it going then have a large boost near the time is it about to be seen.

The map you are thinking on would be Well, wich has 3 game mods variation: capture the flag, control point and arena.
the the big version that features ctf and cp modes may feature with all the trains running around on this TF2 world later. Just have to decide wich one. (maybe make all 3...)
Consider looking for a tf2 themed texture pack. It really helps with the map mapking. My Doublecross map looked good in a tf2 clan I played with
I did, and actually found one. It's just not the way I'm interested on using for building. I would have to make the map entirelly of wool and replace many textures on other blocks to make them work as I want. I would prefer making new blocks that are not conflicting with the ones on the minecraft world then use a simple reskin texture pack.

Anyways, nice map! It's almost like the real 2Fort. I love TF2 and this is quite a good adaption.
