Hi everyone, I was looking at the change log that 4j Posted today and I was excited about many new features such as rare drops but I didn't see The different types of sandstone. That was something i wanted and i thought it was coming but i guess it isn't. Was anybody else wanting this in the update??
The PC changelog says they added a couple of variants of sandstone, but the textures shown are different than the current smooth sandstone and chiseled sandstone they have today. The textures were changed and they were "officially" added in 1.2.4, but unfortunately TU12 only goes up to 1.2.3, meaning they won't be in there.

Or they are in there and 4J just didn't put it in the change log. They've done that with quite a few things in the past so I wouldn't put it past them to do it now.
Speaking of things that seem to be missing, aren't we supposed to gain the ability to place redstone on glowstone? I don't see it in the change log and I thought we were supposed to get that feature. Curious.
Well I will say that I was disappointed that they didnt add in the temples and the anvil. Considering how long this took to even get ready I was hoping we would be a lot closer to the pc version. Oh well I guess maybe by Christmas time we will have what I want like the emeralds, witches, withers, and the temples and maybe that new quartz block in the nether.
When they told us they would bring forth some later features to TU12 I was really hoping for Anvils and enchanting books. Since minecraft 360 has a limit on some resources like diamonds and such (unless you play creative) I don't wanted to waste diamond or even iron on risky enchants, like when I want silk touch/fortune. Oh well I hope those get added really soon.
I'm really wondering if "privlige issues fixed" means they added the option to turn off mob block damage. Trying to make an adventure map and worried the creepers will destroy stuff when people finally play it when its done.

It's in the 1.2.3 PC changelog, so I would assume that it was added in TU12.
I certainly agree with you about most of the people in this thread who are acting like spoiled brats feeling entitled to features that came post PC 1.2.3, but there are those in this thread that were making points of the features that were added at or before PC 1.2.3 that are just missing from the change log. I was just pointing out that the redstone on glowstone feature is missing from the change log. I'm hoping that they added it and just forgot to put it in the change list considering how useful that feature is in circuits.
Well since those were added at a later version, it doesn't really surprise me...
Nope.
They really weren't expected. I hope they'll be in the next content update, though; needing hoppers is almost enough to drive me to the PC version.

How Aboot Now Eh?
Um... that was in the changelog. So yes there will be Texture Pack support. They confirmed it a while ago.
