My life is in ruins. The infection is spreading throughout me, and I can feel it. I must go out into this... wasteland of death to protect those around me. I will not survive.
This is my 1 week in Hell...
You follow the journey of a unanimous man in this terrible land, plagued by a virus that turns the dead to zombies, as the virus itself spreads through him. His mind does not become his own, his body falls apart, and the people can not see him for what he is.
Survivors are spread throughout this plagued world, some for good, others for evil, but all are simply trying to live. What will he do? Does he help them, or leave them behind as his death draws ever nearer?
Scientists are out there to study this virus, and he finds himself in their master plan--something for the Watcher to discover.
This man's journals of his travels are scattered around the world, a memorial to him and his life under the subjection of the virus. They tell his story, but only you can make sense of what he finds and sees...
Bug Fixes:
· V 1.0.1 - Fixed redstone in Haven Mine to correctly do what I told it to do
I suggest using the SMP's Revival Texture Pack, which is a 16x16 texture (meaning no technical HD mumbo jumbo), and is the same one I used in the making of this.
Rules are given in-game, in a written book, but some shall be stated here:
· Do not break blocks or craft anything.
· Play on Normal or Hard.
· No burning wood/coal.
· You absolutely have to have fun.
I realize this map is kinda short, but I spent a lot of time building things to look good and did a lot with redstone I had never done before (That none of you will likely notice!). I hope to do more maps that require building a lot of things (I like making things look pretty ), and I'd like to hear all of your ideas!
If there are bugs or things needed to be fixed, I'd like to hear from all of you! Suggestions are welcome!
Yeah... I didn't make a let's play, here's my review.
The whole in-game experience is cool. The texture pack doesn't fit with the game in my opinion. Some books are either long or boring to read. Also, the zombies didn't get dispensed in the Haven Cave, probably some redstone problem.

Hmm really? I'll have to check that out, it should've worked.
But thanks for the feedback
Oh wow! I'm so stupid, I just realized why it didn't work.
I had set a redstone torch immediately next to the pressure plate so that i would know if the redstone signal was long enough, and I forgot to get rid of it!
I downloaded the map twice, same thing. Running unmodified too.
Well, I don't mean to call you a liar, but it worked fine for me. The zombies spawned perfectly okay with me, and the blank signs usually indicate an issue with your minecraft itself. I believe things were just running slow, and that is all. Unless something got into the mine and pressed that pressure plate, and everything despawned afterwards, there is no logical reason it should not have worked. Redstone is notorious for being slow as molasses, so there is no need to place any blame on me. The 1 Week in Hell V 1.0.1 should have let that redstone work perfectly fine.

I don't believe any of the signs were blank. That may just have been your minecraft.
And I realized the Cave Zombies were not spawning. This i have fixed, as the whole V1.0.1 thing clearly states.
