This pack has very easily become one of my favorites; I really love the colors & the artistic design . Also, having ctm support for stone stairs is something I haven't really thought about, but it makes them look really good (especially when making stone temples and such).
I do have a slight question though: Do you plan to support a higher res GUI once the pack is at completion?

Glad you're enjoying it! I hope to do more stair textures in the future... it really makes them look like a whole new block rather than just a model with some other block's texture slapped on to it.

The 512 pack totally locks my minecraft up Every other pack I have run works fine so I am not sure what's wrong I am pretty sure I can run it but I just thought i would ask to see if anyone else has had this problem.
I only have optifine installed, Everything else is totally vanilla minecraft. I have NOT done any troubleshooting so it could be a one off as I have not tried it since.
I'll give the other packs a try before I cry though It looks totally amazing so I really hope I can run the 512 !!!

For some reason on any 512x pack I run, I crash. 128x blocks look great already so there is no need for 512x ones, but 512x items look SOOOOO much better. So I always have 128x pack, but with 512x items.

Well I feel silly now The packs run perfectly fine on my main PC
Turns out I loaded the 512 on a laptop and totally didn't realise I wasn't on my home PC
hype! Would you do the voices yourself, do some computer voice, or ask/hire some voice actor?
Well, the story behind the golem's voice lines is a little complicated. I either wanted to give iron golems voice lines, or wanted to try using my own voice in audio production for once.. I don't know which thought came first, but it all kinda just clicked. (I do audio and sfx/music production for fun, and I've never tried doing my own VO because I'm awkward and have a terrible voice for it).
Anyhow, to answer the question, the lines use my own voice, heavily effected and post-processed to give a "deep, scary robot" sound a-la-hyperion loader from borderlands. It sounds really cool actually... i was surprised.
It'll definetly be an addon though... I'm sure not everyone wants to hear a talking robot all the time.
plot twist this is borderlands o.o
When this is done could you port it to MCPE? Also I loved using this in PC, really good!
It hurts that this isn't done. ;~; This pack is the BDcraft killer indeed.

I probably will if PE has the new resource pack features of 1.8. by then.

I don't think a higher res UI is really needed.
just curious what's up and planned for the next update?
1.8 features? What is different?
Manufactured blocks and redstoney stuff. Also diamond gear and villagers.
1.8. added the block model system.
i just did a resource pack review of this pack please watch:
WIP Iron Golem:
I can see blue wire-things on it's chest and it would be cool if you replaced vines on it with wires.
I don't think you've noticed, but the background of the creeper signature that's supposed to match the color of the signature background... doesn't.
You can just call me Canary.
How not to look like a total fool in the forum games
I LOVE THIS
And I LOVE the Alex skin! That's my favourite texture
So basically, I'm stupid.
