The goal of the Thread is to bring a collective of Misa's Realistic enthusiasts to help texture a mass of textures that is the Mods Of Minecraft. Basicly if Sphax the cartoon version of minecraft can have hundreds of mods textured and more in WIP or in progress, why can't the Misa Realistic textures have the same? There are tons of mods with Industrial Aspects such as Industrial Craft, Mekanism, Galticraft, Build Craft, ComputerCraft, and the list can go on and on of the realistic mods that need a realistic texture feel to them so is the Minecraft community willing to supply them?
Right now I'm redoing all my textures for IC2, I am making them look more like machines rather than just looking like retextured iron blocks from Misa's, I figured it would just be easier to redo most textures rather than convert them to the new format, for a taste of my work here is the MFE from Industrial Craft 2
Great idea. I have used Misa for years when playing on servers, but use Sphax for playing FTB and other such mod collections. It would be awesome if there were add-ons to cover the popular plugins while keeping to Misa's theme.
I have currently finished all blocks for IC2 as soon as I finish all the textures for the items granted it might take a while I will release the first version of the textures. I am unsure if they will work with 1.7. When I am finished what mod should I do next? Mekanism, Galaticraft, Project Red(Redpower), or a different mod? Let me know.
Thanks, I will do the first part for Galaticraft next, then I will do Applied Energistics, then Chisel then the rest of Galaticraft. I have currently finished a majority of item textures for IC2, and I have some place holders in for some items, some item textures need to be refined. I also do not have any GUI or armor done just Bronze armor, (and maybe a older nano suit texture I have done), I would like to know if any of you want the textures in the state they are now. All block textures are finished and looking good, a majority of item textures are done but need refining, and there is no GUI and some armor. Also this is important I don't want to do all of the work here! This is a community project for any mod you decide to work on this is just a forum where you can post textures they don't even have to be a finished set just upload one or two and contribute to the project.
I have just uploaded and linked the download for Version 1 of my IC2 pictures it's about 95% done with some gui and item textures missing. Pictures coming shortly
Hi jangofett890, just wanted to share the textures I've made. They include some that pscof42 had made as well as a lot of the new items coming out in the 1.8 release. Check it out and add to your submissions
I have modified Misa's Enderdragon textures before so that they fit the dragons in the Dragon Mounts mod. Pretty lousy work, but still I'll try sharing them once I figure out where I put them.

Misa Realistic has always been my favourite texture pack, but I had to depart from it when I started getting deep into modded Minecraft. I periodically check back to see if Misa is making any progress in that area, and I find this thread's been dead for nearly half a year!
That's a tragic, tragic shame for which I will not stand! Misa Realistic is the best texture pack of them all!
Doubt me? To see the awesome of Misa Realistic, you need only explore a dimly-lit ravine or natural cave system: the smooth Stone texture alone provides perfect atmosphere---grim, big, dark and mysterious (it reminds me of the carved, vaulted tombs inside the Great Pyramid at Giza, for some reason). As for the Nether, the original MISA textures are great, but I find that many of the alternate textures---for major worldgen like Netherrack---combine to create a truly hellish place reminiscent of Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos (why shouldn't the landscape of the Nether look vaguely like exposed brain matter?)
For anyone still interested in expanding Misa Realistic's modding support, consider helping less-experienced artists pick up some of the work: If you've done texture work on Misa before, I suggest making your reusable art assets available as a kind of "developer's kit". This has worked to great success with Sphax, enabling a bunch of intermediate artists to use those assets like puzzle pieces, filling in many of the blanks in the pack. But, even more important than filling in missing textures, the flow of submissions from these intermediate artists builds momentum and raises the pack's profile, attracting and encouraging more advanced artists to step in and work on the "hard stuff".
Such a kit would include any components (layers, textures, masks, etc.) that you've used, which you can see being reused in other textures. Obviously, a simple recolor (of, say, an ingot) is easy to do with or without a kit of art assets---but anything that can be separated out of your original texture workfile, like borders and overlays, would be incredibly valuable:
GUI Components: a treasure trove---things like borders, buttons, backgrounds are always reused, and having them available as components makes creating any GUI a simple matter of moving them around on-screen until they line up with the original GUI
Ores & Metals: the metal-rivet border around Blocks of Iron/Gold/etc., the rough-stone borders around unrefined Ore blocks; alternative ingot models, including animated varieties (though the original Misa Iron Ingot can be recoloured to create new ingots, there are so many different metals that more than one ingot model will likely be necessary to avoid the "is this Tin, Silver, Zinc or Aluminum?" problem)
Weapons & Tools: any components of tools that can be mixed-and-matched (especially if anyone dares to tackle TiCo...)
Worldgen Resources: probably the most important, as missing worldgen in a texture pack looks terribad; things like leaf and mineral textures, logs, plant components (petals, leaves, stems, flowers)
Misc Other: "blank" books (i.e. any book variations, except without any identifying symbols/icons); machinery components (frames, input/export port symbols, etc.---though might want to make these different for each mod)
I'll emphasize again the most important part of doing this: Enabling more beginner/intermediate texture artists to contribute will help keep the momentum alive, and hopefully raise Misa's profile to the prominence it deserves.

Somebody made a terrafirmacraft patch on PMC, see if you can locate him. i think he has some other cool ones too.http://www.planetminecraft.com/member/tzvere/ here's the guy. you could pm him there and ask if he can contribute, he does good things.
If only i could change my username
His latest activity was over a year ago and his comment was that he was stopping work on his pack
"Oh, this again.
Moderator name lynchyinc already closed my pack, already check it and already unban it.
Some guy name Kaosian just disinform you. I was not used his content."
