Amazing animations, and I hope you continue the great texture pack.
I kind of forget how old this commercial is for the "new generation". AKA the kids that grew up with Facebook, social sites, instagram, iPhones, and other things that were actually illegal due to their young age....
It's still hard for me to accept that the 90's = more than 10 years ago ;-; Aside from that, the commercial is still weird as **** xD
Hey just a suggestion, do you mind putting the date of the last time the pack was updated in the OP? that would really help, because I don't know if I have the updated pack.

If you feel like...
The date of the latest update is right below the Downloads title. The order of time = YYYY/MM/DD(thats year first, month second, day last)
But do make sure you are always up to date, hope you enjoy the pack ^^
Darn, I lost one. But don't worry, after I finish the ore, vegitation and redstone I am going to ask permission to animate Faithful! No promises on their answer though =P

Thanks so much! Minecraft would look so much better than it originally did.
........I knew this was going to come eventually...I am extremely...picky...when it comes to the textures I create. Take it this way. How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop. Perhaps the world may never know, as I always bite....I mean...
The slime ball is finite. I think you would agree, yes? How many drips from a ball of slime does it take to get to the tootsie r...umm...center of a slime ball. Perhaps the world may never know, as I alwa...wait...I don't eat slimeballs O.o Nevertheless, a drip represents loss. And subtraction only goes so far before reaching zero. My OCD would drive me crazy if I made it drip.
Oh and If you may be wondering about the lava bucket then, I allowed that one to continue to drip as that actually IS infinite in game. =3
(And incase you are too young to understand my reference, this is the kinda weird commercial us slightly older folk grew up with - )
Oh yeah that old commercial. Now that I think of it, my OCD would go crazy about it too.
That slimeball does look cool jiggling.

I'm glad you've come around ^^
On a side note, @ everyone: I have finished several vegitation textures, but I have a good...20 more to go(somewhere around there) I'm unsure as to whether or not I'll finish all of them, THEN release; or release when I'm halfway done. But vegitation is definately the next update!
Fun Fact: Melon/Punkin stems use the same texture for all progresions of life. This will mean different things for different people.
For the more technical folks out there, the texture gets pushed upwards with each growth stage.
For the less technical folks, it ain't gon werk
For the curious, its basically impossible to create a wind animation with this texture that actually moves. I COULD make a simple color shift, as I did with the leaves...but meh
For Mojang, thanks for the hassle >.<
BUT! This does leave the community in an interesting position! If anyone can think of a way around this bugger of a problem, post it! Color shifting obviously doesn't count, as I already mentioned that ;P
I am looking forward to what someone might come up with!

COLOR SHIFT! But seriously, maybe use some ctm magic and use each CTM panel to have a different texture, then when it cycles through the textures it changes? I don't really know how CTM works so I don't know if this would work.

I have delved deep into this CTM - partly figure out why people still call it such even though it lost the M a good while back when it was picked up by optifine and MCPatcher - Primarily to see how the thing works. Well, but not in the way I would like. The silly thing makes me choose between random textures and animated textures like a waitress at Dennys who says I can only have sausage OR bacon. Not like there is any competition(bacon obviously) BUT THE CHOICE SHOULD BLOODY WELL BE MINE.
The mod - that term used lightly as it is no longer such, mearly a feature of a fairly larger one - is not entirely at fault though, as the new texture format, although absolutely necissary, provides that every texture related article to be rewritten to make way for a feature that should have been added LONG ago. As it seems, none are, so I am having a lovely time sitting in limbo while everyone else seems to shrugg their shoulders and walk on.
I would like to think such a nice function would be somewhere deep in the bowels of the feature *not a mod* but no one ever seems to use the more interesting bits of the addition to a modification. Like random textures; I don't know why this isnt more widely used! As for me, I seem to be in the uncomfortable position of having to choose between random textures and the primary function of my texture pack, animation. No where have I seen anything even remotely idealizing the posibility of random animated textures, something I hold dear to regardless of how unlikely it may be.
TL;DR
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I am unaware of how to do this and if any of you DOES know, I would appreciate being filled in.
Oh, and about the rant, I just got through a marathon of the lovely brit yahtzee croshaw who does an absolutely brilliant job of showing what a cesspool the current generation of games has become. And after watching at least 10 of these videos, it's hard not to take on a annoyed view of absolutely everything in existance.
/me makes a motion to effectively change the term CTM to CTF; Connected Textures Feature.

Very true.

If someone in an S class cuts me off, I don't get upset. He obviously has important things to do. Now, someone in a Toyota? We're fighting.
These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.
I knew there's a pack like that somewhere. It's awesome. How about a blinking eye of ender?
I have been dreading the day when someone would ask this. Let me explain...There have been a good few "animated default" texture packs before me, ranging from total junk to actually, very nice! But so far...ALL of them made the eye blink. It's not that I have a problem with bloinking ender eyes, but I really don't just want to make this texture pack the same as everyone elses. This isn't to say that one day, I might animate them blinking, but until that day is closer, I really just don't want to think about it. Also, it isn't like I dont have more important blocks to animate, like leaves ;P
Sorry for letting you down, but I hope you understand.
What if you made the eye of ender blink rather than a blinking eye of ender. Confused? Perhaps I should say "fade". A subtle jab at those other packs, be that to your taste. Maybe some sort of pulsing effect, like a bloodshot eye or something.
The texture/animation should be something to compliment when the eye is thrown and when it is nestled within the portal blocks as well. Forgive me as I am not at all familiar with the animation/texture rules surrounding this item, but if frame 1 starts when it is thrown, this could allow for some interesting animation, as well as if the same texture is used while it's sitting in the portal blocks.
Now, I'm going back to my hole where I don't interact with people. I just like this pack, so I thought I would share this idea and be a smart...ypants with my opening. /2cents
What if you made...*snip* (ain't nobody got space fo full quote)
I thank you for climbing out of your hole to comment ^^ anything and everything helps. Also, there isn't anything I can do about when the player launches the Eye, the animation will continue along the same arc. There isn't any options as to what animation will be used when, although a good idea, Minecraft simply doesn't allow it ;P
Ah ha!
Exactly what I was looking for! The vanilla texture pack with just a bit extra.
Not sure about the graphical user interface and the potion effects but I'm downloading to give it a try.
+1 just for effort though. Good job~
Ah, the GUIs are very subtle, so you need not worry if they are over bearing or not. And the potion effects are strictly within the inventory screen, so they won't effect gameplay much ;P
Alright! My first video review ^^ Although you missed a few things, over all you did a great job! I was worried it was going to be some low quality video where you only mumble, but you pulled it off very nicely dude! I wish the the best of luck with your youtube!
Also, my version number doesn't have anything to do with Minecrafts version, at this time it just so happens to coincide ;P But for furture reference, all versions work for 1.5+
