i just used Optifine (No MCPatcher Installed) and The ResorcePack Worked Fine EVEN with different Block Textures so do i still need to install MCpatcher? cuz i love The Resorce pack and my Minecraft cant Run With Out Optifine lol
It'll work fine with just Optifine, but the CTM glass will not render correctly, and the CTM ice wont have the fancy cracks along the edges.
Probably soonish. My priority at the moment is all the tools, I just got sidetracked the last week doing easier objects because my college schedule is a bit rough now. Taking a full load during the summer is can be crazy some weeks! So I've been doing easier things here and there that I can actually get out to you guys.
Just a follow up. I cleared out both the Texture Pack and Resource Pack folders, then downloaded the 1.6 version of your pack with the Curse Client and it put it in the correct place in the Resource Pack folder, so we're all good now. Back to using MC Patcher just for the jar files.
Beautiful texture pack! Don't typically use texture packs (my computer can't handle them too well), but after I get a better system I will be giving this pack a try.
What I really like- how it stays true to vanilla blocks, but at the same time changes them in such a way to create a unique feel that is sorta hard to describe...
Just a heads up for everyone, I know you are all used to daily (or every other day) releases. I am currently dabbling around with the GUI a bit, I tossed around some concepts here and there. The GUI is a bit complicated to design/plan, so it took a while to settle with something. Don't fret! I'm still working at my normal speed, just hit a bunch of design roadblocks and wasn't happy in the directions I was going. I finally got a concept down though, so you guys should start seeing bits of GUI work come out soon.
But, to tide you over, here's what I have for the GUI at the moment, it's very, very early work in progress but I finally have a basic concept I like. Obviously this is no where near a final product, but it gives you a very general concept of the design.
Of course, it's still no where near done. But that's the product of about 3 hours between shot 1 and 2.
Looks nice. Simple enough to easily see all your items and blocks and yet still detailed enough to remain interesting to the eye.
One thing though, the cracks coming from the display where you see your char look a bit out of place and make the area a little too cracked up. It's a bit odd having them there as there aren't any cracks coming from any other side of that block of gui elements (the char display and the armour) but all the other sections that have cracks (the crafting square and output) have cracks coming from all sides. Just my 2 cents!

oh yeah, I'm going to remove some of the cracks. Also the ones coming off the character/paperdoll area (left side) are actually unshaped/unshaded. If you look real close and compare them to the completed cracks on the craft grid you can tell. That's one of the reasons they look so out of place. :/
But I realized before posting that I'm over-doing the cracks. Once the entire menu is "cracked up" it'll look messy, so I'm probably going to cut down the overall frequency by about 50%-75%.
I noticed the 2 layers glass/ice will NOT work with 1.6, even if I use MCpatcher. Would you consider merging the 2 textures into one so we can have the awesome glass and ice in the 1.6.2 resource pack?

I have not found this to be the case. My 1.6.2 runs multi level CTM without issues

But, other than that, you should be fine.
Thanks everyone

(Sorry for my bad english I from Mexico! D:)
Sorry for the slow updates this week, been a busy week for me!
Thank you again for all your hard work!
No, optfine's CTM can't handle 2-layer CTM.. I'm not sure, but I also don't think it supports alpha blending.

Again, great job
