About the Painterly Pack The Painterly Pack is a fully customizable, 16x16 graphics package for Minecraft which seeks to improve the graphics of the game, while still attempting to keep the overall spirit of the game intact. Featuring over 5,000 graphics, textures and sprites, Painterly is still the original and largest repository of textures for making Minecraft look the way YOU want it to look. With over ten million downloads and counting, it is one of the most popular texture packs out there. If you'd like, you can donate - to do so, go to the website (painterlypack.net), and click on the Donate button on the sidebar. All proceeds go directly towards Rhodox and the website.
Q:Why does this thread exist? Why not just use the website?
A: This thread is more oriented towards the sharing of users' custom Painterly Pack customizations. Having a central area for the customized packs reduces spam/duplicate threads and allows easy access to the customizations without rehosting Rhodox's pack.
Q:How do I download the packs in here?
A: To use one, simply click on the "Share" button above, and paste the password you chose in the field. You will then be redirected to the download of that exact customization.
Q:How do I submit a password to this list?
A: To submit a password, simply use the following steps.
Customize and download your Painterly Pack.
Open the zip file. Inside there is a password.txt; this is your pack's unique key.
Submit a reply to this thread, containing the following:
Name of Customization (e.g. Bob's Painterly)
Password (custom pack key you just got)
Description of Customization (just a sentence will suffice)
Screenshot, or terrain.png (uploaded to imgur or similar)
That's it! Obviously, be sure to follow forum rules when posting and describing your pack. (Remember, no adf.ly. This is is all Rhodox's content.)
Nice! I've been waiting for a painterly pack forum thread. Could you by any chance contact Rhodox to see if he is going to make a Painterly PE Pack because i can only use PE and I love the Painterly Pack. Thanks!
This thread isn't super active but Rhodox has been working as hard as he can to keep updated and adding new stuff as always. And even cooler, now you can get his textures on neat little building blocks in real life. http://www.modelblocks.com/
