The pistons look amazing, the only things I notice are that the front of the base, the border around the hole is hexagonal, so it doesn't look like the hole would be square. Also, that slime looks kind of weird, I think it should look more like slime or "goo" than bubbling... stuff.

Yeah slime is quite bubbly isn't it, can always re do, that was like 10 mins quick sketch up.
I guess there is a couple of hours ish on the pistons. Once you have a number of other textures it does become quicker as i can use parts from the woods/metals etc and work them into something new creating new parts where needed. A very much tried and tested method of re using content in creating tile sets to high polygon worlds.
The name is nice... But when I saw it the first time, I couldn't help but think "coma hills".
I love that new signature though!
If I were to... make some buttons for your pack, would you like to see them (or possibly use them if they come out well enough)? I just find a pack looks more finished when the main menu is done, but I guess my pack has been in production for over a year, and I still don't have a custom title or panorama.

Ha at Coma no no Chroma. Definition: The purity of a color,or its freedom from white or gray. intensity of distinctive hue; saturation of a color.
Hey, go for it on the buttons see what you can do that fits the style. I'm going to play with some GUI to have a break from the main pack
Well, I've fiddled around with last night, and came up with these buttons, based on your furnace/dispenser side texture.
Hey cool. Not bad first go, will have a look in game. Just wondering if there's too much detail in the cobble stone in such a small area making it look a little noisy. What about wood in the middle, the planks use less detail than cobble, ooh maybe with the iron edging (small rivets) i used on the iron blocks/door/pistons around the edge......as another idea.
Yeah, I wasn't so sure of the detail level either. When put in game, anything above 16x16 is shrunk to fit the exact same portion. Perhaps it would look good with the GUI size set to large...
I will try some different designs for them though, I think I understand what you mean, to have the wood texture with the riveted metal "supports" like on the piston head. I'll try that.

Normally have mine set to auto, will wait to see what you come up with but have put those in the game for now
I've worked on the in game item menu, i don't like HUD's too cluttered so came up with something quite minimalist but fitting to the style i think.
Also played with a Redstone circuit idea that you can see.
One thing I like about your textures is that they all make full use of the resolution. That hud looks great, I'm fond of good use of transparency in the hud, and that is just what I like. That redstone also uses the HD resolution well, and it looks good. In the current version I'm testing, the redstone still looks like minecart tracks.
I should have the wood version of the buttons done tomorrow (afternoon, after school), but the rivets are quite cluttery and the wood seems to have the same problem with not looking that great when shrunk in-game.

Hmm well lets see what you have come up with when youre ready, if it not working maybe a rethink on how they could look.
Yes i'm quite happy with the HUD, glad you like it I'll email some update files over, with new HUD and Redstone.
Is there any way I can become a tester/reviewer of this pack like corner and Moo are? That would be awesome
Thank you
Hey, its great that you like the pack so much, really good to hear! Its not too far off that i'll be able to release a WIP download, just need some more blocks doing for a more complete terrain file. I wasn't going to give it to anyone before it was ready but Corner and Moo have spent a lengthy amount of time discussing the development in here with me. I felt it would be good to get their eyes on the pack in game as well give them something back for all their continued input.
I would like to get the pack a little more finished (mainly the terrain file) before too many get their hands on it, hope you understand. Keep looking in and leaving comments/feed back as it all helps with the motivation and pushing forward.
Feedback please guys 'n' gals on Birch bark, had a hard time with this one and been tweaking it for a while. Might re visit it later on as didn't enjoy my time with it.
The birch looks great, and would definitely satisfy me. But if you ever go back to it, comparing to real birch, you should add some small black bits, and some slightly peach coloured spaces (you'll know what I mean if you compare it to real birch bark). But that looks good now! Well done.
I agree with corner, that birch looks really good, probably won't need a revisit
I do have some questions about the future of the pack. Do you plan to add support for Connected Textures (including the random textures, I think it was called Natural Textures for a while), Random Mobs, and just general mods?
The reason I ask is because I would love to be able to have textures for my SimpleOres mod that match this pack. I could do it myself if I have your permission, or you could do it if you wanted supporting mods can get tricky though, so I understand if you don't want to go down that path
Thank you, and keep up the amazing work
EDIT: Also, another future question: Will you add animated items (mainly torches), so that they are animated when you hold them in your hand? I have seen some packs do this and it really is a great touch
Update, slime added.
Comments welcome
