I'm just wondering if you're aware of this? I don't think you've updated the pack since I downloaded it, and I've tried playing without Optifine and with the latest version of 1.8. But there's no give!
Basically, oak fences don't have a physical, "on ground" texture. They do have a texture in my hand, and they do have a texture in the inventory, but as soon as I place one on the ground, joined or not joined to another fence, they appear as the purple and black box. It's the same if they're in mid-air or joined to a sponge.
It's only with your texture pack, as the default textures, Wayukian and a few others I use all display the fences properly.
Any ideas? Thankfully my builds currently use acacia and spruce fences, so I haven't had to deal much with oak. But it's still quite annoying! For reference, all other oak blocks work fine.
Is it version 3.2? Because I just checked it and it's working perfectly fine, allt he fences are there and working properly. I also notice in that picture your fences aren't unique textures, I actually updated them really recently so that they have a unique texture that's not just the planks mapped to their shape.
Try downloading v3.2 again if you have that version already or don't have it and let me know if that fixes it. If not I think it might be an issue on your end as I can't seem to replicate it and neither can my friend... :/
I'm having a tad bit of a problem with redstone dust. The texture won't properly connect up. Everything else looks splendid now. (This is where there's supposed to be an image, but The file is "over 1 GB." Thanks, MCForum.)

Pepper is my spirit animal. I may also be slightly obsessed with her.

Hmmm, I'll have a look into it. I remember in one update they changed the direction of the redstone dust image so that the dust was rotated the wrong way when connected together. Which mc version are you using? (and which version of pixel perfection?)
I'm on Minecraft 1.8.7 with Optifine HD Ultra D6, with Pixel Perfection version 3.2.
It may in fact be a glitch with optifine, I just checked with vanilla 1.8.7 and it's completely fine, looking like this:
I'll download that version of optifine and check it out again, I'm not sure if I'll be able to fix it if it is optifine specific but it doesn't hurt to try.
Before anyone mentions it: I've checked out the snapshot and I realise a fair amount of stuff is broken. I'll update pretty shortly but I might leave out some models from the next update until I'm sure they won't be changing the format again in another snapshot coming in the near future.
Since Wayukian pack isn't updated anymore, I wanted something else that would be just as visually pleasing.
I think you've come amazingly close to the awesomeness of Wayuki with your pack I'd say you have the best 16x 1.8 pack around ^^
Other than that, I made some skins in the past using the colors from Wayuki's pack to match my game. Would you be okay with it if I'd use the colors from your pack to create skins with and share them online? I'll certainly give credits to your pack when I do. ^^
Here are two of the skins that I made with Wayuki's palettes, to give you an impression
Let me know what you think, and keep up the awesome work!

100% fine with me, I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Thanks for the compliments too, I also love wayukian, really can't wait to see it (eventually) updated to 1.8. It's a beautiful pack.
If any of you guys have been wondering what I've been doing at all, I've been working on textures for a challenge (the simple pack challenge 3, over in the resource pack discussion section of the forums). Bit of a different style than I usually do but certainly a lot of fun. You can see screenshots of the pack in action over in the challenge thread.
Here's a little snippet of the textures I made:
In pixel perfection news, I've been working on the sky textures (still) but they're almost completely redone now and we have a brand new moon and moon cycles coming in the next update which I just completed. I'm trying to fix a few issues people have been having with shaders and my pack and also finish the magma cube but they're both almost done so I should have an update ready quite soon now!
P.S What is the SERADICUS' PALLETE for in the textures?
It's because I used a palette from seradicus to make those textures, he submitted the palette as part of the challenge. I wrote it there to give credit and also to show which palette I ended up using (it was part of the rules to select and use one for all of our textures).
-the baby animals mod (doesn't work with random animals =_=), 1.6.4
-better beginnings mod 1.7.10
-not enough items mod 1.8
Sorry if you've commented relating to this, and i just haven't noticed
Uh yea, just send me a link in a PM and I can add it to the OP with full credit of course. I've got a lot of other mod support I really need to upload as well with thanks to a couple of guys for helping make it!
Almost ready to release the next update now. Been doing a lot of colour tweaks and texture adjustment (most noticeably I hue shifted the grass instead of just having it straight greyscale so it's a bit more interesting per biome and I lightened the water texture so it looks a bit more cheery), going over a couple of older things and cleaning up the shading, etc.
I've also finished the magma cube, couldn't really think of anything interesting to make them so they're currently just a chunk of rock basically although they do match the blazes.
I just need to finish up a bit of stuff on the mcpatcher skyboxes and we're good to go!
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I also finished the snow golem so guardians are the only normal mobs left to texture. If I get time I'll try and get them both done before the weekend so they can be in the next update but if not they'll be coming in the one after along with 1.9 stuff as it should hopefully be more finalised then.
Hey Xssheep i really like your pack and ima big fan also whats CMT also how Do i make more then one version of a mob for example a pig with mud on him and a pig without ik you need optifine but how do i do it? also your really good at making pixle art so you should make some skins
In regards to your questions: CTM (I assume that's what you meant) is a feature of mcpatcher and optifine which lets you add multiple variants of textures in-game so that you don't always have the exact same texture for one block among a couple of other things. There's a tutorial on the mcpatcher page which explains CTM and also adding in variants for mobs so that you could have a normal pig and then one with mud on it as well.
As for skins, if you look up XSSheep on planet minecraft you should see that I've actually made a few skins already, not too many but then I spend most of my minecraft time doing textures rather than skins.
acctuly Ive known your PMC and pack along with skins for a while but i have been away form your PMC for some time so yesterday i saw you posted a few skins over the time and i had a request cuz i thought you could make it look cool anywase you dont have to Ofcourse. Last thing does custom skys also need Opfine or Mcpatcher?
You can use either mcpatcher or optifine to get the custom skies as far as I know... same with all the other custom features I have in this pack now, I don't think it matters which one you go for.

This is a cool texture pack. I hope you keep developing it for future updates of the game!

Thanks mate, I'm actually already working on new textures for 1.9. I should update the pack again pretty soon after the first snapshot is released!

I've finished a skin a bit sooner than I had planned, couldn't wait!
Here's the result.
I intended for her to look kind of post-apocalyptic ^^ her hair is suppose to look like she has dreadlocks
Hope you like this

Looks really neat, I love the whole goggles and mask aesthetic - very cool!
