Hello minecraft forums, this is my first post, and I'm proud to present a new texture pack by the name of CellCraft. It is a cell shaded texture pack which tries to help unify the colors of minecraft, by changing the colors of tools, ores, and items to more closely match each other. The terrain is comletely changed, as well as the items.
I've posted the terrain and items files here so you can get a preview of the textures before you download it. (Updated recently!)

And now, (outdated) screenshots! Sorry for the FOV, I play on 90.and without the gui:
If you have any comments, good or bad, I'd like your input, because the pack is mostly W.I.P other than blocks and items. Thanks!

First off, nicely done. I like the simplicity and as a whole it works well across the whole package
A few good things:
Wooden Planks- These are gorgeous. They look really, really good. Don't change them at all
Ores- I love the simplicity of your ore blocks, straight forward but pleasing to the eye
Some things to change:
Smooth stone vs. cobblestone- There needs to be WAY more contrast between the two. Color, texture you name it. I loaded up a world of mine where I had used smooth stone and cobblestone to build a castle and it all looked like the same thing. All the patterns I had made got lost. Differentiating them more would help this pack a ton. Here a two pictures I took to show you. The first is your Cell Pack and the second is Rhodex's painterly pack.
Trees- Your wood blocks can be easily mistaken for planks. There is not enough texture on the sides and the color is too similar to the plank version. It should stand out more from planks, just like the smoothstone/cobble
Keep working on your chests and crafting tables. They are often hard to differentiate from each other and from other wooden things around it.
My only problem is that the tall grass is too dark (or the regular grass too bright). Otherwise, nice pack!

Many texture packs are using a simplified style like this one, but only this particular pack caught my eye. (Dirt looks like tasty chocolate ^ . ^)
You can play minecraft like a whole new game with wonderful art now.
It's mostly my own opinion, but you can consider these anyway:
Flowers could be made to fit more into theme. Blocky, with glossy shade like everything else is.
Even slightly animated water would be nice. Simply changing some colors or shades will do, blocky pattern is fine.
Flowing water looks like awkward +'s instead of cubes. Maybe it's just me.
Gravel is too similar to stone, some red or brown shades wouldn't hurt.
I know that paintings were done on purpose probably, but seeing those random squares was not so appealing to me.
Do you have any idea what cell shading is? This looks nothing like cell shading.
First of all, almost everything is pillow shaded.
Secondly, you have provided no other screenshots with tiled objects.
Third, it is very unprofessional to take screenshots on 90FOV.
EDIT: that may have been a bit harsh, didn't mean it that way.
Focus on proper shading instead of just pillow shading, come to Texture Discussion and we can give you some tips
Also, take more screenies please.
I don't think this is considered pillow shading, exactly. However, I do know that this is not necessarily "cell shading" either, but after I finished it that's what it reminded me of The reason the screenshots are on 90fov is because my screen resolution is small and couldn't fit it all in otherwise XD. But I respect your opinion, and I'll post more screenshots soon.

I know water looks bad, but I don't know why it looks like that; it looks fine in the terrain.png Thanks for your suggestions and I hope you continue to enjoy it.
