These small fire and water animations you notice is a texture error that comes when you haven't installed either MCPatcher or Optifine, properly. This is not because of the texture. The texture is 100% operating
Yeah, I realized what I did wrong now. I forgot to patch Minecraft before I used the texture pack. My bad. I really do love this pack though. I can't wait to see what it's like when it's finished.
Hello! I love the way the pictures for this pack look, however when I try to use the pack my Minecraft freezes... is there something I need to do with MC Patcher besides putting the zip file in the TP folder like all other packs? (I'm new to Textures and Mods etc.)

If you are experiencing that your Minecraft client is freezing or won't load when you apply the texture, you might need to choose different resolution than the current one you have downloaded, or deticate more RAM to your Minecraft client. 512x512 is the highest resolution available for R3D.CRAFT, and it's very, very heavy to run. 256x256 is also pretty high up on the scale. If you are playing on a decent laptop, I'll recommend you either try 128x128 or 64x64.
Watch tutorials on YouTube or Google around if you want to know how to dedicate more RAM to your Minecraft client.
I have a good gaming laptop... I don't see why I'm having issues with this :'(.
Even a decent gaming computer will experience problems with the 512x512. It's really, really heavy! A powerful stationary gaming computer is best suitable for 512x512.
Here's my computer specs. if you want to get the idea of what your computer should have or be around:
Intel® Core™ i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Display Memory: 4062 MB
Dedicated Memory: 2014 MB
Shared Memory: 2047 MB
Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor Model: BenQ GL2440H
Output Type: HDMI
I can run 512x512 just fine with up to 100 frames. It still takes ca. 5-10 seconds to load the texture when I apply it.
I can't rave enough about how excellent this is, I am using the 64x pack right now because my good video card shot poop but I can't wait to use the 512x when it is finished as well! I can say without a doubt that I would pay to use somthing like this in my game. Do you have a PayPal account set up?
EDIT: Nevermind about the PayPal, I just didn't see it. Definately worth a donation in my opinion.
That's no problem. I only asked you 'cause the Creative-Inventory in your 128px version is a little bit buggy. You know this bug? And another point: If you change the tools: Please do it like the blocks, only HD and no new textures
@UniblueMedia I saw your preview on facebook. Could you try to make the items look a bit more like the original ones? I mean you did overlay the MC-texture over your other textures, too. So why don't you do the same with the items?
As I've stated on the R3D.CRAFT's fanpage on Facebook: "Thanks for all of your suggestions/thoughts/opinions so far. I know this might seem "to much". Maybe you would rather like me to keep it pixelated with textures. This is however the original style from R3D.CRAFT. That doesn't mean I won't be able to make an extra version later with more pixelated tools. We'll see "
It seems like many of you want me to keep the original shape and form when it comes to the tools, so I'll try to make another version that has that kind of style. That will not be done, before after I've finished this texture.
Spent some time playing this in 256x with the shaders mod. Blew my mind. If you ever want a texture review video for the 256x or maybe even the 512x(i havent tested if i can run that yet with shaders) let me know and i'll make one

There's a nice, little preview-image on R3D.CRAFT's own fanpage on Facebook. You should check it out
