What this is:
Okay so after the release of my KDS Photo Realism texture pack. I dived straight into another pack and to this day, do not know why. I loved the Wasteland mod by The Holy Frenchman, it's a fantastic mod that really adds to the gameplay of Minecraft. So this is aimed mostly at that mod, however I've made it so you can use it in any minecraft world. Just don't expect me to explain why everything looks like it does
All of the textures are highly detailed and a lot of time has been put into it.
For the first time ever, I've decided to add a 32x version alongside with the usual 256x, 128x and 64x. However the 64x and 32x versions will remain untested. Use to your own discrecion because I do not support and won't provide any help or changes to it. They are there only because people ask for them. Don't expect wonders
Personal Note from Author:
I created this texture pack with only my vision to guide me.
Please respect that and not steal my textures.
If you wish to use them, drop me a pm or an email.
Download:
This is where you can download the packs, all packs under 256x256 are mostly untested but I do try checking they're okay before packing. Enjoy!
Mod Support:
As it currently stands I have just started adding mod support for my texture packs so don't expect a whole lot just yet...
(Click the resolution you want to get the textures, installation video is coming soon (Should be relatively simple to figure out anyway)
That being said ALL of my texture packs contain Connected Textures mod support.
Support:
I spent many weeks and months working on this texture pack.
Countless hours have gone into creating and tweaking each and every texture.

Thanks man.
Also to those who don't know.
The furnaces and torches are animated.
To see what I mean, check this video out which shows an update my Photo Realism texture pack will be getting:
pretty awesome... but well, my sprite is now a black sprite that says buy the game... i did buy the game, a while ago now... not a fan of this...
Well change your skin then on Minecraft.net
If you really don't want to change it, upload the same skin texture as the template they give you.
I'm not changing my stance anytime soon.
Most people I know who have bought the game have a custom skin.
So I found this TileMaster texture tool and was finally able to combine this pack with the "derelict" one. Now I got the best of both worlds. Awesome!
Ah yes, another good tool.
I found another app just like it quite a few months back and have been using that to combine my two packs.
Hope you continue to enjoy the pack.
Feel free to post any and all screenshots :smile.gif:
What is that, in place of the wheat? Are those Zoom 'shrooms I see!?
The idea is that it's meant to be a fungus of sort. I wanted something different to the ordinary wheat growing. I think fungus/mushrooms fit perfectly in with an apocalyptic theme. :smile.gif:
Thanks man.
If you ever feel like posting some screenshots of any of the packs on their topics. Please do so. I love showing off other peoples hard made screenshots :smile.gif:
Yep. Found it right after I posted when I started installing the zombie mod pack. fixed it right there. this really is a sweet pack too. I love the lava.
might be a little off topic. but is there a way to prevent the out of memory errors? I have a quad cpu @ 2.40GHz and 4 Gb of ram with a 1GB graphics card. So it feels like I shouldnt be getting such an error.

There are ways to have 32bit and 64bit Java but it's best not to chance it incase it messes up your Minecraft again.
Bear in mind though that by installing 64bit java you will not be able to play any other java games in 32bit browsers.
You'd have to run a 64bit browser like IE for example to play them.
If you don't have Windows 7 64bit and have a 32bit operating system ignore what I said.
There is a way around it to make Java use more RAM.
That is to make a bat file for Minecraft.
Google it because I haven't made one for a long while.

Try out the Wasteland Mod if you haven't already here:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/386574-100-wasteland-mod-v08-finally-updated-to-100-includes-ruins-19000-downloads/
I made the video using my texture pack. Looks very eerie
Just gotta wait for Silver_Weasel to update his Wasteland Mod to 1.1 :biggrin.gif:
1- Water and lava is invisible. It's been a long long time since i played minecraft. All I did was move the .zip file into the texture pack folder.
2- smooth stone has little images in the corner. Or of a portal, and another of a fire. It's actually quite annoying....
Ah I see your problem.
A simple and common mistake that many people make.
Minecraft cannot handle higher resolution texture packs.
Simply download this app and patch your Minecraft.

If you are using Windows 7 64bit. Uninstall Java and install 64bit Java.
Here's a quick link to 64bit Java: http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=58126
