Thank you for fixing the GUI.
I don't use MCPatcher, only Optifine.
I set my options to max, can't stand waiting for levels to load.
It better be loaded before I look at it, or I RAGE. Lmfao
No glitches in the sound, but what I don't get...
Is the 'stone' in this texture pack supposed to be metal?
Because the cobblestone looks like scrap metal..
Therefore, why does it sound like it crumbles when you walk on it?
Just asking, it isn't bothering me all too much, immersion is still there. <3
the sounds are shared. the cotton sound is the same for snow, so the snow squeaks. I had the stone sound be the wood sound before, but so many things use the stone sound that they aren't made of metal. that sound is the happy inbetween, so neither immersion is lost regardless of use. maybe in a mod i fix :biggrin.gif:
the more intersting is that they use gravel for paths int eh villages, so i can't have garbage cubes for gravel. what the ****. who the hell uses gravel for paths.. i mean it makes sense now. I HATE GRAVEL.
Jeb took over for notch. notch stepped down. jeb's next order of business is the mod API working with a few of the big minecraft mod crews too, so once that hits, I'd like to see a last day mod too.
-less trees
-more distinctive sounds for specific blocks
-generated underground structures that burst throw like old sky scrappers half buried
-more mutants like glowing zombies and such
-random stray robots
-wandering villagers
-smaller scrap shacks of villagers or maybe int eh skyscraper ruins
-add an actual radiation meter with the food and thirst
-spawn starting in a hive, maybe deep under ground with a path up that can be blocked or whatever, like an abandoned mine shaft.
-a few more weapons
-old items sitting around generated like cars or offices or odd elements like roads, and telephone wires (can do them up with just fences that have a T at the top)
-if possible a skill set too, better at weapons or mining or crafting or enchanting.
but i'd like to see it more of a survival thriller, with more on developing skills to have fun with a team survival.

if a last days mod get made there should randomly generated hive bases with people in them and another type that is rundown and abanndon
Hello everyone! I am history. I am sure a few of you have been playing LAST DAYS long enough to remember but for those of you who have not, I was the person to first start the pack up after it was left behind by Doku. I worked on LAST DAYS for a good number of months(creating much of the terrain, all of the old mobs, gui, etc) but had to give the pack up do to my business with Zombiecraft and life on the whole. When I left I asked Croco to take over the pack in order to keep it alive. He, along with Halphprice, has done wonderful work in doing so and I am very grateful for the both of them.
Recently I contacted Croco and after a brief back and forth he offered me the pack back. Soon, this thread will be coming back into my possession. HalphPrice and Croco will still both be indispensable contributors to the pack, and Halph will be running the Minecraft Customizor Page.
Finally, I want to give a HUGE thanks to both Croco and Halph for keeping this pack going and for their wonderful work.
I will be posting a preview of update 1.0.0 very soon. This includes work from me,croco, and halphprice's unofficial update.

Thank you. It is good to be back. I want to state of the bat, that LAST DAYS will be 1.0.0 ready very soon. In addition to that, I have begun a process of revision and consolidation of old textures. As a preview to that here is a screen shot of the newest version of The Huggatron with a bit of iron ore in the background.
EDIT: Also, you may begin to prepare yourself for LORE! It may come in peices, but It will begin to be fleshed out very soon. There may be a few other surprising coming as well. But for the timing being, they will remain surprises

Welcome back, History.
I just have a few questions, reguarding what forum topic will we go to? And are you going to handle the customizer still?
Well whatever happens, you have my approval (if that means anything to you :tongue.gif:) I am sure that the pack will always be going into the right direction.

that pretty cool like not have skinny raider and have world gen option or a time machine aka a portal to a post apocalyptic world.
Also I would LOVE to be of any help if you if you do make a mod I can like a tester =p
oooooooooooooo, i know you don't approve of the pack, but i'm trying to help.
On the contrary, I like your unofficial release. It had plenty of awesome textures. I know you are trying to help, and you've done a great job. Your awesome textures will make it a easier for History to release a 1.0 update. So, I would like to say (and I apologize for not saying this sooner) good job Halph!

There will be a new topic for History and HalphPrice will be handling the customizer. Hope that answers your questions Vultron. :smile.gif:

Almost all of them! Except knowing that History knows that he has my approval.
Oh my god! History's back too! :biggrin.gif: I'm so excited! this is what I love about Last Days, it doesn't have just one awesome artist on the team, but three now! Not only that, it also gives you custom sounds to help increase immersion, and soon we're going to have an official lore! I am so excited guys, it's hard not to ask you to rush because I know if you rush people they don't always do their best work and I want this to be as good as possible. Great job so far guys, keep it up.
Well, I am happy everyone is exited for the future of the pack, I am in the process of merging works from Halph's unofficial update, croco's WIP update, and my own additions and tweaks. Croco already answered this question, but yes, HalphPrice will be in charge of the Customizer. Also here is another small bit of what I have been working on. The portal blocks are Croco's handy work. I made the tiles to replace stone brick.
Many years before converting the Hive Islands into a series of branching fallout shelters, Orbital Industries build remote labs in order to test principals of teleportation and any other questionable studies they desired to keep quiet. While able to meet there goal, the technology was all but abandoned due to its undesirable results.

History! You are back! Those textures sure look nice. This pack is the one of the two things that make me enjoy minecraft, the other being Better than Wolves. However will Croco and Halph-Price still be part of the creation of the pack?
I have also been working on some BTW textures. Most are retextures of things in the customizer, yet I made a few as well. I could post them if anyone is interested.
