Okay so as stated purpur and end rods have been updated and I have some pictures of that.
If we all remember how ugly the Stone and Wooden Swords looked with their blobby shapes. I took some time to remake them into more of a sword shaped item. (I also added in ctm a custom item the leaf sword which is just a renamed stone sword with lore attached)
I am actually working on 14 swords for a whole range of Custom Item fun on our server that uses this. I currently have 4 of the 14 lotus blades complete.
Hi everyone. Just poppin' in to test the waters: would people be interested in supporting continued updates to this pack (and adding custom model support) via a Patreon? The thought of modernizing this pack has crossed my mind, but the time investment is such that I don't think I could do it without financial support. In the future if things are successful, I might look into reviving 2263 as a texture pack again.
If that sounds like something y'all would be interested in, let me know.
I mean this pack most certainly is what keeps me coming back to Minecraft. I would probably be willing to pay a little myself if that meant it could keep going. I really love the pack.
Well that would be cool get the original creator back in business, but what can you actually offer for the money now that the pack has been already updated to 1.12 by Galvin, Kyle and other participants? The pack is already alive and kicking, guys have made an awesome work here and I would have paid them for keeping it up to this point. And don't get me wrong, I'm willing to put a few coins in the pile if it's really worth it, but somehow this smells to me..
Yes, we will be updating the pack to 1.13 around the same time as OptiFine updates, which could be days or even weeks. 1.13 is a huge update and will likely take them some time.
I don't plan to update sooner, given how dependent the pack is on CTM, although if anyone wants, I can try to get a download up. Haven't really looked into all the details but I'm guessing that a ton of files need to be renamed. Might start in the next few days.
We do need a lot of new textures for 1.13 - especially the new aquatic blocks, items, and mobs. We have an incomplete list of missing textures here: https://github.com/KyleNanakdewa/Revival/issues and all community contributions are appreciated. If anyone's familiar with GitHub, you can fork the pack and submit a pull request, or, just simply email textures to [email protected]

We will be making one soon, along with a github. We are also currently work heavily on a custom server plugin we might be announcing sometime soon
For anyone following this thread and saw that we were putting work into updating the resourcepack, you can now follow us over at the new thread.

That's a fair concern. I'm working on my Patreon pitch right now, but the gist of it is:
- Continually updated Revival
- Custom block models.
- Community input on mod support (once Revival is up and stable again).
- Eventual update of 2263 as a resource pack.
- ??? future packs, if things go well (i.e. contemporary, post apoc, etc.)
Will there be any updates for 1.13?

Thread for our updated version is here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/resource-packs/2822930-smps-revival-fan-continuation-updated-may-20th
GitHub is here: https://github.com/KyleNanakdewa/Revival
A direct download link for the pack (although currently 1.12.2) is on both of those - always up-to-date with the latest changes as they're uploaded.
