Anyone else have issues with the CTM and SMP Revival pack?
Fixed it myself, version wasn't corresponding, but I still have a CTM issue.
I absolutely LOVE the combined slabs having different textures, but it seems that in some places it just doesn't work. I've transferred all my work to a new map, but the issues persist, just in other places. So instead of getting a new texture, it'll just doubleslab and look like normal blocks (such as cobble slabs looking like cobblestone, instead of the new mosaic).
Does anyone know what causes it and if there's a fix?
Nice job! I'd like to see alternate, plain-like textures for material blocks such as iron and gold, or even just ingot blocks. Also, if you'd make netherrack more dull-like it would fit netherbricks. I love netherbrick texture, but the bright red netherrack makes big contrast :F
Also, I would love to see alternative version of bread. More realistic-like instead of toast bread ^^

Edit: Also, think about working on lightmap. It's so red on sunset!
Edi2: I found a bug. Check out the grass blocks in taiga biome without snow layers on them.
Hey SMP, can you make a use the smp revival texture but make it like this.
- can you make it wo where the wool is connected, and so is the glass and the wool looks like picture on ur site where there is yellow wool that is connected, and so is the red. can you make the sanstone like that too. basically, use the texutr pack from this picture and make it into a resourceful pack:
I noticed red sand is coming with the 1.7 update. That looks an awful lot like your current clay block, so I think you should revert to closer to minecraft's default gray clay.
It'd also be nice to have the option to have a dark red, rather than black, nether brick option.
Awfully dead around here these days, one of the best texturepacks around. Been using it for over a year, and I still love it.
Now it's even my server's official pack. All credits goes to you ofcourse SMP, had many users say how great they think the pack is aswell. Can't wait for the future updates
I keep browsing my YouTube channels like I do, but lately everyone's been pretty partial to Sphaxcraft because of FTB. I'm still running this alongside the modpack's defaults, as it looks nice with Thaumcraft. Matches the mod creator's art style very well. Still, once 1.7 rolls around, this will still be my pack of choice when playing the new adventure maps. The lighting really adds to the immersion.
I gotta say, I prefer your old textures for things like mossy cobble, red mushroom block, enchantment table, and redstone lamps. Could you add them as alternates in the next release?

Hey, SMP, I've had your pack since... geez, I don't even remember. 1.6 Beta? 1.5? Either way, I'm real glad you're keeping it up. Lookin forward to 1.7. Appreciate all the work you've put into it.

The next revival update is shaping up to be a big one, focusing on adding a lot of stuff for creative mode.

For some reason I get these purple corners when drinking a night vision potion at night, btw this is in a mountain biome.

Here's the nether brick texture SMP used to use in Revival before switching to the black option. This is better looking, in my opinion.
If I remember correctly it's the mod support isn't being updated.
It's nice to see this pack is still being updated. It sure has changed a lot since I first started using it back in Beta 1.7.
(Love the kraken painting, by the way.)
Anyway, here's the to-do list till 1.7 release, roughly in this order.
- Update biome colors
- New tree leaves
- Double tall plants
- Stained Glass
- Shift around new metadata CTMs.
