Quick suggestion:
Lava/water should be gels
Pistons should be panels, the head should be that of a regular wall
A to you for a good texture pack!
My plan was for Lava to be the slime that kills you and water to be a muddy water, but gels is a good idea! When I get the time I'll make this an alternative texture.
