Just a suggestion, the golden tools look a bit off? I mean I may seem a bit silly for mentioning this but the golden shovel is a doll?? And the gold axe (I mean no offense, just suggesting) looks more like a gold sword than the gold sword does.. Just ideas for improvement, please less vanilla textures! (If I can help with this I'd be glad to)Also, it looks real nice so far, and fits in better than most texture packs with SDK's Guns Mod!
Thanks for your constructive criticism, there are just some things we cant determine our selves. but the golden sword is a ripper, so we figured it would be best for cutting down trees fast, cause its a mini chainsaw. as for the vault boy doll, well its an easter egg to penny arcade's fallout comic and we didn't really have any other shovels to put in the pack. also you have to keep in mind that gold tools are weaker but faster so in that aspect the things we put as the golden tools make a fair amount of sense.
Also we originally had plans of doing textures for SDK's gun mod but by the time we were close enough to done with our pack SDK got kinda ridiculous, so instead we are going to support the More weapons mod.
We have done a lot more since the last update to the downloadable pack, but there are still a few things that need to be done here and there.
The End and Ghasts are two of the big ones, we just are not sure what to do with them. a Deathclaw is the closest thing to the ENderdragon, (body-frame wise)
wow, I just got told I ripped you guys off. I never even knew about his pack. I gotta say seeing what you did on 16x I'm impressed, you did great work. the jukebox you got on one block that I used 2 blocks for.
Really nicely done. I love that you got the puppet vault boy for the golden shovel. that's great, from the penny arcade cartoon series. I think you guys got it great.
Just so you know, i brainstormed with another guy and decided on the end results in what seemed most logical through use of nukapedia, and the pickaxes we chose are all identical, it's ****ing eerie. I swear up and down, never ever saw your pack before today.
anyways, you're missing textures for the spawning eggs. they're 2 separate item textures that layer. I suggest you guys finisht eh pack by getting rid of all vanilla, and just get bad textures in place to fill it. you never know what you might have thought was a bad texture could be a good one, or a good one with a minor tweak. just get it done asap.
also, how long have you been working on this pack for?
First of all, thank you for the compliments :smile.gif:
We never seen your pack either, and i must say, it is pretty interesting.
Actually we brainstormed with two other people, with me (the_gotham) and Neptune4a as the artists for the pack brings it to a total of four people it had to go through nit picking with before we released it. Me and Neptune came up with the ideas of what to use from our fallout knowledge (mostly me) and we used nuka pedia along the way as well. and after playing with your texture-pack for a little wile today, there are some similarities. which is kinda odd but not too unlikely since both our packs are based on fallout. the difference is that we used things from all the fallout games, not just 3 and NV.
We have been working on an update for the pack for a wile so there is still a lot of unreleased content and we aim to release it some time soon but never would we consider releasing something we are not satisfied with.
And its funny that you mention how long we have been working on the pack cause we are actually celebrating our one year anniversary of starting the pack. We have officially been working on it for a year since a few days ago. Although that just means that we started it a year ago and not that it has been on the forums for a year, it has only been a few months of being on the forum. so its a pretty big mile stone for us.
How long have you been working on your pack, looking at it there is a lot of Old World Blues stuff in it so im guessing its more recent.
I wish I knew how to use banners/signatures,but oh well,I'm just about to take a first look at the texture pack myself,so far from the pictures it looks rather fine and quite as close to a resemblance of Fallout 3 as possible, great job!
Thanks, theres a million videos of how to set up signatures, thats what i did at first.
May I make a suggestion? Water and water particles should have a brownish/greenish tinge to look dirty and radioactive. Lava I have thought of a little bit and I thought maybe it should be be black with bits of orange and red here'n'there to make it look like it's been there for a long time. I hope you take this into consideration

water particles colors are changed, maybe its not in the current public version, IDK. either way there is going to be a big texture pack update soon, so hang tight. but as for the lava, cant really be changed unless the player has a mod on. thanks for the suggestions though.
Hey guys i was wondering if its alright that i ported your texturepack for the pocket edition and my topic with the port has credit to you and a link to this topic.
Theres textures for the pocket edition? Well we will take a gander at your thread about it.
*edit*
Just applying the texture looks complicated. What exactly does it require to port a texture pack?
Also we have an update on the way so we could handle the porting in the future. maybe.
Ok sounds good then, if you still want to port the pack then go for it. how would it be distributed though? could you send us the ported pack to our email? so we could put up for download and handle the distribution on our file distributer account. it is important that we know all of the download stats. we would put a download link on the main page and you can have a link to our download distribution on your thread. you would receive all the credit for it though.
Great pack. needs updated. and a few blocks confused me but most part its great.
Thanks, the update is on its way so stay tuned. Also anything you think we should change/add? Other than the 1.2 stuff cause we are hard at work on those as we speak.
is this the link in computer craft the actual texture pack?
If you mean the download link that reads "Computer pack" then yes it is Mineout for the computer, because we also have a pocket edition of the pack available for Minecraft: pocket.

Im making a map using it (based on fallout) and i want your opinion about it:
Sorry for my bad english, im argentinian.
Its looking real nice, we hope to see more from you some time :smile.gif:

heres a vid though.
hope it helps
We already have the blaze as a mr.gutsy. we don't want to have multiples of the same type of thing.
Which custom map? ours or the one that climax is making in association with us? for the new vegas one you would have to ask climax.
The pack has been updated to 1.2
~Enjoy your stay
