if you want and can tell me a good program for it, i will record the whole city and post it on youtube!
Wow, that looks amazing! Can't wait to see more!
Personally I use CamStudio, it's free, but you might have to compress or convert your videos before you can upload them.
In this thread, they are discussing different recording programs. You can read more about CamStudio and other programs there.
Hey everyone, the update I know many of you have waited for is here!
Now you can finally use the new wall blocks, floor blocks and roof blocks instead of wool!
Of course, there are other changes too (see change list in the first post) but all those new block types instead of wool is a major update for this pack!
(you can still use normal wool if you want)
Also updated for the jungle update.
So here is a list of all new block types!!
New floor blocks:
Black Marble Floor
Glowing Switch (Depot)
White Marble Floor
New wall blocks:
Palisade (works great for floor too!)
Stone Wall (Ancient)
Stone Wall sandstone
White stone Wall
New roof blocks:
Together with the old blocks, you could build almost anything!
Already existing blocks:
Stone Tile Floor
Stone Wall (Vengoth)
Also, get ready for the jungles with these gigantic trees!
Remember to download and use the latest version of the MC Patcher!
I must say I was absolutely thrilled to find this texture pack! I used to play Tibia for years and have happily been recognizing everything! It's very nicely done and I will use it forever! (or as long as I can anyway). ha.
Hello everyone! I would like to use this thread to share something with you.
Me and my friends started creating a replica of Thais in minecraft last year using this texturepack. But eventually (when the town was almost finished.) got tired and quit. And it has been gathering dust on my hdd since. Im afraid that i will eventually manage to delete it, so to prevent it from getting erased and perhaps finding a new person who could perhaps finish what we started im going to let everyone who wants to download it and do whatever you please.
Some information about the build then
We tried tobuild it as similar as we could. So we decided that one sqm in tibia would be one block in minecraft. We placed all the windows the same as in the game, and everything else from torches to flowers.
The roof height was decided to be 3 blocks high. Since we built this some time back lots of the textures that the tibian pack now contains wasn't around thats why most of the houses are built with the wrong textures. I hoped someone would have the time and patience to fix that!
Most of thais is done, all houses are there and most of the rooms and decorations, however some houses miss things, like basements and such. The sewers are mostly dug out, but not completed. We have even started to build fibula and rookgaard (when thais was so close to being finished it got boring to work on it)
Rookgaard and fibula and everything is located at the correct distances.
But since the original game is 2-d somethings looks ugly and doesn't work fully in 3-d. That's cipsofts fault but we have tried to follow a rule, all walkable sqms in tibia should be walkable in MC-Thais to!
]Small update. I've started to work on the map again, but just occasionally, i fix a few houses now and then when i'm bored, ill give you guys an updated map-file later when i've made some progress! Perhaps it can inspire more people to use this awesome texture pack!
Jeb talked about adding lots of new blocks without textures in the future which texture pack makers could use for custom texture packs such as this one, lets hope that happens!
