WOW I'm so sorry I had no Idea that you waited,
I assumed you'ed just publish it and I'd see it then. You didn't need to wait
That adventure map is yours alone. Your creativity, time, and talent made that not me. the fact that my texture pack and primes inspired it is special but your map is your artistic expression! I feel offal about this but GristlyIsMe you need to get that map out in to the world. I'll play it, I'll enjoy it. but I refuse to give you a OK to release it, because it's yours not mine, Now go ! Go post that map in the forums and let us all enjoy it!
Don't worry man, it's actually super short, I honestly just meant it as a short version of my interpretation of the story. I'll send you a copy, and if you could give me some feedback, that'd be great! After that, I guess I'll just give you the link... I made this for the pack, honestly, not for myself, or for popularity. Consider it a late Christmas present, i gguess

yar! I be slowly converting the pack over to the new single texture per block format that I'm so excited about! (I'm not) Anyways, when I do I'm planing on dumping every texture I'v ever made for minecraft on ya all including the unreleased Christmas texture pack i never finished along with some 32x32 stuff.
Now for some real talk,
I'm really not planing to abandon the pack but I don't have the time to work on it like i used to. So I'd like you all the be a bit patent with the pack not that you guys owe me anything.
Why don't I have the time? well i'm developing my own game, I don't mean this to be a big announcement just a simple and humble explanation of whats going on My end.
If you'd like to know It's coming along quite nicely and while theirs not much i can say at this early stage of development I can tell you this, It's a retro metroidvania platformer set in a forest ... and some other places. Also It happens to have some of the best pixel art I have created. Ever. were talking rich, beautiful, pixel art that your SNES wishes it had the privileged of displaying on your old composite input tv.
(seriously I have a old tube TV that I upload videos of the game up on my ps3 to make sure It feels right)
I have this texture pack to thank for the quality of pixel art I'm able to make today. I won't let it "die" without one good last update.
So, I was going to just comment and bump this thread for the chance that someone had been working on updates for this incredible pack, but I realized the low probability of such a thing and decided that maybe I could help convince someone to go and give it a shot. I've taken the liberty of formatting the file structure to the new resource pack format, to the best of my ability. Though a small contribution, I hope someone will try to keep the torch lit in my stead. I also spent a few hours in photoshop editing the item textures into their own separate files. Beyond this, I don't know what I'm doing. There were a few textures I couldn't identify, so I've simply left them on the original template png, and included it as it's own file. A more adept resource pack maker can figure that out, I'm sure. I hope someone will at least try their hand, I miss using this pack.
Download the .zip file below (the unidentified textures are outside the main folders, you'll see them):
