- About the texture pack -
I wasn't fully happy with the cartoony-type texture packs that were available, a lot of them were very nice, but not quite what I was looking for. I put this pack together mostly for myself and other people on my little server, but I'm hoping it can now satisfy other peoples cartoon needs too.
The main points, or "themes" of this texture pack are:
Bright, vibrant, warm textures.
A similarity to the default texture pack.
Non-realistic, cartoon-like atmosphere.
Easy to differentiate tools and other items.
Cute pumpkins and friendlies, but monsters still scary.
Most of the textures in this pack were made by me. However, some are taken straight from other packs, some combine two textures (for example xaiwakers ores with Frenden's (edited) smoothstone), some are based on other textures but made by me (for example brick). A large proportion of the textures are currently from or somewhat based on ones from Frenden's wonderful 16x Cartoon Pack. Very big thanks to everyone whos textures I have used. Full credits and permissions are near the bottom.
You need OptiFine for the custom water. It is not animated, but it's a nice colour.

Sure, you can use those textures you mentioned. I just ask that folks who use my textures include credit and a link to my thread (preferably by including the jolicraft logo, http://img607.images.../5724/sig5f.png).

v1.2.1 - Minecraft 1.2.5 READY! New planks, new paintings (ones not re-done have wonderful Jolicraft placeholder paintings), the new sandstone/stone blocks, more stuff.
v1.1 - 1.1 READY! Added eggs (pretty much default, but they look cool), also added the new forest textures, so is compatible with the latest pre-release! New brick! The old one is there as an alt - might switch the back round in the future, not sure yet.

v1.0 - 1.0 READY! Gold nuggets are COINS! A lot of the textures are default still, like most of the potion stuff, I will hopefully do some work on these in the future.
v1.8.2 - 1.9 PRE 3 READY! Added all the missing items and things (probably), changed pigs and cows, did some other stuff I can't remember. Updating recommended even if you're still playing Minecraft 1.8.
v1.8.1 - Made water a bit more see-through, modified the enderman, gave pigs hooves, gave squids huge eyes, made poisoned hearts a bit brighter, changed chests, added missing critical hit particles, fixed glass pane sides, re-textured iron bars, few other little things.
v1.8.0 - Added 1.8 textures. Removed, modified or re-made a huge amount, Including all of ShortStuf7's work.
v1.7.1 - Fixed beds (silly Jeb), changed pistons a bit.
v1.7.0 - Pistons! Shears! Name change so it fits in the texture pack selection box. "Fixed" bottom right leg of the bed being a pixel off. New Netherrack. New glowstone. Buckets of water are now the correct colour. New easier-to-see-through rain. Loads of little tweaks.
v1.6.4 - New items: redstone repeater, fish and cooked fish (I'd like to hear a reaction for these ), minecarts (they actually match the minecart texture now!). Changed un-lit redstone torch to be slightly red rather than black. New bed. New dispenser. Alt smoothstone or cobblestone added (just me playing around really).
v1.6.3 - Changed redstone ore to "fit in with" the other ores. Changed redstone torch to match the new ore a bit better. Cobblestone changed to be more "cobbly" old version will be included as an alt if people complain. Details on grass made to stand out a tiny bit more.
v1.6.2 - New desert shrubberies. Few small tweaks on wool. Not a big update really.
v1.6.1 - New trapdoors, added map into items.png (oops), swiched out the new grass and "shrubs" (that look like trees?) for some nice grass. (Grass is heavily edited grass from the wildgrass mod). Put custom sapling texture back in.
v1.6.0 - Updated to 1.6, damn that was fast! New gravel, higher contrast in cobblestone and sandstone.
v1.5.8 - Re-did/edited bedrock, sand, dirt, smoothstone, wildgrass. Few little tweaks to other textures.
v1.5.7 - Edited lots of GUI.
v1.5.6 - Changed sandstone. Added a couple of big snowflakes and transparency to the default snow. Made rain a little bit see-through (I might re-do it altogether soon to seperate my pack from Jolicraft). Changed gold blocks to be more rounded/realistic. Added basic Wildgrass support, although it hasn't been tested properly. Lots of tools re-done or heavily edited.
v1.5.5 - New mossy cobblestone. New bed. Few little tweaks to sand and clay.
v1.5.4 - New sandstone texture. Changed brick. (Thanks to Frenden for these last two, I made them but learnt a nice new way of doing bricks by looking at his new textures). Edited red flowers more. Changed pink trees for the hundredth time, they are less grey now (but an alt is included for people who don't want to be er.. blinded.)
v1.5.3 - New cobblestone texture. New sun. Changed iron block back to.. an iron block. Two new "porthole" paintings, put them on glass! Tweaked tools to make wood/stone ones look less "powerful".
v1.5.2 - Re-made minecart and minecart track. Changed corners of glass. Few other little things.
v1.5.1 - Fixed the odd rain/water drop combination with an edited version of Joilcrafts great rain.png, thanks andrejolicoeur! Still haven't come across any snow but I'm leaving that default..
v1.5 - Updated to un-screw up redstone and grass sides. Re-did grasscolor again. This version may have issues as I haven't tested it for long enough yet, but it's probably fine.
v1.4 .1 - Decided not to release v1.5 until Minecraft 1.5. New TNT. Changed window-rims to wood but kept old stone/iron and gold ones as alternatives. Smoothstone half block had more done to it. Took out Frenden's zombies, and Abra's Huskey. Changed grass a bit. Included modified world curvature, fog removal and bloom GLSL shaders from DaxNitro and Megusta, you need this and a bit of shuffling around to get them to work. Changed pig so it glows less with bloom GLSL shaders. Added alternative snow for use with bloom.
v1.4 - Changed name and version number organisation. Diamond ore more shiny. New solid gold, iron and diamond blocks. New pine/dark wood foliage. New mushrooms. Sunflowers given leaves. Put in Jolicrafts pumpkinblur. Changed smoothstone half block. Put in Frendens nice new iron doors and changed a few things so iron colours match better. Probably more that I've forgotten..
v1.3 - Made diamond ore 300% more awesome, with a much bigger diamond. Changed the wolf to the Huskey from Abra's Dog Pack because that's the one I personally want. Change it if you don't like it.
v1.2 - Re-did tree (foliage) colour again, less lime trees, more 'green' trees, pink trees more natural. Also "accidentally" changed the wolf to the Huskey from Abra's Dog Pack.
v1.1 - Added Shortstuf7's nice doggy-love-hearts
v1.0 - Neatened up biome colours (grass and trees). There are more "lime" coloured trees, the transistion between "normal" and pink trees is better, and the bluey trees are now green. The bluey grass has been removed, and the switch between colours is less extreme. Also updated sidegrass to match the tops a bit better. As a whole grass is slightly more green and less pastel-ey.
v0.9 - Pack released for public dismissal.
Please do not re-distribute any of my texture pack. If you wish to use something in it for your own pack that you will distribute publicly (i.e post on forums), then ask me, and I might allow you to. Private modifications are of course allowed.
While it looks nice it's hard to (at this point) name it your own as a majority is a collaboration. Not that there's anything wrong but perhaps make sure in the title to express it's a collab at this point, until you create more original works in it (sort of like the Quandary -> Coterie guys did).
Good combos so far though. Keep workin' at it!

(That being said, the pink trees, sunflowers and brick you mentioned are all me so yay).
Finally updated it today looks really well can't wait to see you adding more of your own stuff as you phase out the other packs so to speek.
I think about half of it is mine or heavily edited by me now. I'm definitely getting better as I work on it
Check again if you've got the latest version anyone who's reading this, as I keep changing things.
Here's what I'm working on at the moment. Hopefully this is a pretty enough solution to get interesting looking windows. I'm still working on the texture and might make smaller/bigger porthole paintings if requested.

I think I've finally finished the foliagecolor.png now. <3 Pink trees. Note that it will work in any other texture pack which has nearly white leaves in the terrain.png (and you've used MCPatcher). If anyone wants to use it in their texture pack that would be fine, just make sure you credit me for it :smile.gif: Okay to be honest I think I'll be fiddling with this image for ages, going to try adding whiter trees in places next.. although it's working perfectly as it is.
