Question:
Does this hand over, or could it be made to hand over, the seemingly preset colours of the water and lava drops to a Texture Pack creator. Currently MC overrides whatever is in the particles file, using only the model then applying the colours to it itself, resulting in some very poor looking water and lava droplets (Pure deep blue and Pure Yellow and Red. Looks ugly when there is detail in the other textures).
Also, did you ever get around to checking out that texturable sky thing?

Hello, I downloaded the MC Patcher, because without it, my water doesn't flow, and the fire says, "download the patcher noob". So I downloaded, and the fire showed up! But thise happened:
See the torches have weird x's above them. Oh and this happens with the tools and such:
How do I fix this? Did I do something wrong? Help me out please, thanks.
It works, I tested it with every size (except 256x256) and it works with no problems. But how do we need to add mods? Do we still need to put them in the minecraft.jar or do we put them in the same folder as the texture pack we want to use ( I never used the ingame texture pack selector so this is kinda new for me). You and Xau have done what Notch should have from the beginning! I hope approves.

Everytime I run MCPatcher for a second time, It creates a 11w49a file besides the original AND the 11w50a jar files, then it says I have to use 11w50a, which is actually still in the bin folder. So I have to re-install my Minecraft every time. Quite annoying.
Also, how do you change swamp water? I can obviously see how to change other swamp colors like the grass and foliage, but I'm missing the option to change water.
Minecraft-1.0.0.jar is whatever your minecraft.jar was when you first started MCPatcher.
I see. Well, I deleted the .jar-files then did a force update then patch it. What I understand, minecraft-1.0.0.jar is always vanilla in that case. Thx :smile.gif:
I've used the MCPatcher to install all my other mods and texture packs. They work fine. However, I downloaded some of Nanondalt's mods (http://www.minecraft...reesa-lot-more/), and none of them are recognized when I try to add them into the patcher. I got the following mods: Beekeeping, Chocolate Mod v1.1, CoralReef Mod v2.03, and Dairy Mod v1.02. Any suggestions? I've tried manually extracting the files into the Minecraft .jar and it still didn't work. /: I've tried my best making this as clear as I can. Sorry if it's long. It'd be great if someone can help me!
Put the latest version onto a vanilla minecraft (HD textures and fonts only) and whenever I click the vidio settings button, in game or not, I get a saving chunks crash.

FYI, this works with the latest snapshot (12w01a), however, Custom Colors is disabled.
Looking into that now. There are a lot of little changes in this snapshot that are wreaking havoc with the class signatures. getItemColorFromDamage now has two parameters instead of one; there's new logic to smooth out the water and foliage color transitions; some magic constants changed for no discernable reason; etc. The real trick will be coming up with a set of patches that works for both 1.0.0 and 12w01a.
I tried it out and I'm not seeing any semi-transparency support.

MCPatcher has nothing to do with SMP..
You're using Norton. That's the problem. Get a good AV software.

Please reply.
Yes, run it. That's how it's suppose to be.
I'm asking you, as a friend... Just...put an end to me.
Okay, thanks.
