I have been playing minecraft for a while now (early alpha) and I really liked the idea of making my own texture pack. I started editing random things with Paint.net until I felt like it had turned into something I would consider releasing on teh interwebz. And well, here it is (Keep in mind that this is still a WIP and somethings will be changed/ added in the future)
Check page 117 for test version of 1.9pre4 fantasy variant! Others are coming soon, along with the final version of the fantasy variant.
Over 50k downloads on just the mirror site! (wondering how many downloaded it through dropbox now)
If you guys like my pack, show your support by giving it a +1 in the corner of this post! :biggrin.gif:
-fixed water flow colours
-fixed all the items.png bugs and made unique doors and beds for each pack (the items now match the bed and doors for each individual variant)
-limited aether support, still a WIP as you will be able to tell from the inventory. :tongue.gif: It will have a quickfix in a day or two.
-new lightstone, ladders, grass for fantasy, sexy new cobble (and mossy), new long grass, new half slabs
-tweaked biome colours
-tweaks, tweaks, tweaks!

Credits + recommendations!
Ovo - Ovo's Rustic Pack was definitely the biggest inspiration for the RPG variant. His pack is the best thing since sliced bread and I highly recommend you check it out here!
Glimmar - Glimmar was the first inspiration for the creation of this pack. This pack has changed a great amount since first release but Glimmars pack is still awesome and I still thank him for being such a big inspiration! Check out his pack here!
Wayuki - Major thanks to Wayuki for helping me with my new animated water. She really helped a bunch! To see some amazing textures and the best animations around, check out her pack here.
LordTrilobite - Some of his work has been really inspirational to me. It's probably my favourite 16x pack other than my own, I highly recommend you guys check it out! Click me!
dorianGREY - His pack is a really awesome 32x pack and I highly recommend you guys to check it out if you're looking for a dark, RPG themed pack. Very nice. You can find me here.
I'm also using slightly tweaked versions of Eld's armour until I make my own. (probably soon)
Show your undying love for this pack with these sigs! (just copy and paste the code)
Here are my worlds! I will update them with every update to my texture pack but you can use them if you want.
XSSheep! - This is the world in all the screenshots!
It is ABSOLUTELY amazing... I have a huge mansion and tower and a nice mine with the scariest cave known to mankind. There are also plenty of massive mountain ranges, scorching deserts, freezing tundras, lonely islands and huge oceans! Best thing is, that's only in one direction!
Hope you enjoy it!
Just unzip the worlds and put them in your saves folder, easy as that!
Also, I'm not exactly sure where you will be when you open those worlds but if you look around for a bit you can find some stuff.
I love it its my new favorite pack but I don't like two things about it,
1. I don't like the wood. Not sure what more to say I just don't, maybe I'll get used to it.
2. I don't like the cobblestone, it is a little much and when there is none next to it like the left of the picture, it looks bad
But other than that it is by far my favorite pack. I've been looking for something like this for ages
I have to agree on the wood, it looks like bricks.
do something with it like you did with the cobble, because imo the cobble is great
I do like cobble some times but at other times its not so good. when used to patch up your wall it doesn't look nice at all
mhm, thats kind of a problem with all the bigger cobble-textures, because they have a half brick in each block.
it doesnt matter if its above or under another block because of that.
i think its unfixable if you want to have the cobblebricks big like that.
