I love it! Only have a few critiques about it myself.
First is that the compass and clock don't work. At least not without that patch you mentioned (which I don't know where to get and I'd like to avoid changing any code atm). Hope it can be permanently fixed by default in MC.
Second thing is that water and lava aren't animated. It's odd that it's so hard to animate them, as I thought the code does that automatically.
Third is about the glass texture. There's only a frame, but inside it's fully transparent. Don't think a few diagonal lines around it would hurt (like in the default textures), to make it more easy to see there's glass there.
Other than that, I totally like it. With a few more changes, I believe it could be of official quality :smile.gif:

The compass and clock will work properly, just use xau's HD patcher.
Lava/water animation will also be fixed by using xau's HD patcher.
And the glass texture, i won't change that, as i hate those little lines obscurring my vision trough the glass. Still, i will think about it. =)
Also, xau's HD patcher isn't a bad thing, the only thing it does is to make the game in 32x32 pixels, instead of 16x16. If you want to "reset" everything, you just open the patcher, and patch it with 16x16 pixels and no texture pack. Takes about 1-3 seconds.
