I'm loving it except for the WildGrass. Plummets my FPS from 120 to 10-17, even going down to 4-7. I guess it's too rich for my blood, even at 128x128!
Thanks again for the textures. I wonder if getting a better graphics card would help. Got myself a 1GB 4870 stock. Although isn't Minecraft more CPU-oriented, with it being Java n' all...

Precisely, Minecraft is solely based off your CPU speeds and RAM.
Yea, wildgrass takes a heavy toll on the fps. I'm working hard on trying to get a 64x64 version out which might help and I've been re-texturing the entire items.png to very high quality works.
Such examples:
Iron sword (needs a bit more fine tuning to smooth edges)
Wooden Pick (Spikes will be tinted to the color of the shaft)

The 4870 should be fine.
I just picked up a 6950 2GB upgrading from a 285 1GB and notice only a few frames difference.
Minecraft is mainly RAM/CPU.

Ah. I guess I'll wait for your 64x64 pack then. Looks quite great, even for 64!
I'll wait with bated breath. So release it soon. Passing out isn't a fun experience. :biggrin.gif:
Sorry, I have been swapping in Albion's GUI files for a while now so I didn't notice you had changed it. I personally prefer the hearts and shields so that's why I do the swap.
Also, I noticed today that there is a random blue line on Lapis Lazuli ore (or whatever you call the little blue things that fall out when you mine the block). I don't see it in your items.png so I'm not sure if its an issue w/ the texture pack or w/ my client.
Oh ok, you were the second person to say they hated the health bars and that just royally confuses me when I haven't had health bars for weeks, lol.
Didn't notice that strip myself until you said something. XD
It was a very transparent strip in the corner for some reason. Since specific things don't have transparency capabilities it makes anything there as if it were 100% opacity. Very nice find and I fixed it for the next update.
No torrent's are not illegal in any aspect, companies can take retribution, but only if they own the rights and actually wanna go through the long and painful process to sue one person.
If you own the rights, torrenting is perfectly ok, therefore a texture pack on a torrent site is fine, and its still not "Illegal" to download movies and stuff, its just frowned upon, like masturbating on an airplane.

Well put. XD
I'll still just put up a redirect which is simple and gets the job done. I do understand where your coming from in which this was designed to be shared without charge.
What are the other programs and files along with the pack?
Trojans, of course.
What else would they be?
;D
lol, seriously though: I put the texture pack in there as a plain folder, for those who want to pick and choose which files from the pack they download.
Then the run.bat zips up the texture pack for use with the HD Texture fix.

Oh, and do you have Steam?
I figured that out after the "readme", which should have been the first thing to do instead of ask, lol.
I do have steam. ^^
I had to get it for Napoleon: Total War, but haven't been on in months
What about adding better text to the pack?
Not sure which pack, but I downloaded this other pack and the text in it looked spectacular.
Much better than the default text.
EDIT: Nevermind, it was Misa's pack.
Awesome text there. :tongue.gif:

Aza did have awesome text, but I'll look into Misa's as well. Eventually I'll make my own text set as it doesn't seem too hard to make (I say this now...)
Firstly, i love your texture pack!
Secondly, i'm wondering if its compatible with wild grass from the get go? I was browsing that page and dilla's made a fix for 1.3. Yet overwriting the terrain.png file seems to be part of the process (it requires the bit of grass on the side of dirt blocks to be transparent). Correct me if i'm wrong; i'm confused about it in general.
Sorry everyone my "Quote" button is working properly for some reason. =\
All the same, questions will be answered.
@MagicHp
It looks like that industrial craft requires many images added to the items and terrain .png's. I haven't looked to far into it to see if it just uses a separate .png, but it looks like the incompatibility could be overwritten with installing this pack last after all those mods.
@twilightdjinn
Yes it's compatible with wildgrass from the get-go. =)
I think the transparency top to the grass is from the grass fix he's thinking about adding from the modloader.In a few short hours Dilla has become quite a legend.
@Lodo & Wtfnut
Thank you. ^^
@abbrivi8
Specs look pretty good. I have run into a few crashes while dealing with servers because they usually get extremely large in size and it's too much for unallocated Java to handle.
Also, Mrmmods isn't compatible with 1.3 as of right now and that is a likely culprit as well.

How do you bend the image in PS? I have cs5
Lol, I thought that's where you got if from. XD
Edit: Puppet warp - Fairly easy to use. Place points to pivot on and bend.
Torrent sites aren't illegal.
The more you know.
Technically, no... but according to the US Government it is.

My main page won't even display any of the images and my quote button doesn't work. =(
