EDIT: Noticed a texture file is missing that's definitely there in your pictures, desk_books.png. Its the one that displays the books on the desk when it is placed. Do you happen to have it?
Excellent work! I've been looking for a Misa style pack for Biblocraft for a long time. Don't know if you plan on doing any more, but I'd love to see similar packs for Decocraft and Malisis Doors too. Maybe Project Red as well :D.
Most likely you used my textures for the new BiblioCraft 1.7.10 which are not fully compatible with this version. As for the other mods, I have nothing else. What about the Buildcraft, you can use next textures assembly, but again, this is for version Minecraft 1.5.2. For the new version need to change, in most cases, change the file names.
The majority of textures here I took from other works.
It's not, unfortunately... My Paypal is completely locked up after the move and there's little I can do at this point to get my money off of that to go towards the new machine short of going back to visit NC at some point to tie up some loose ends I didn't prior to the move to Wisconsin (It's complicated). Transportation for school became an issue after the final move, so I had to go job hunting just so I have a way to afford transportation now. Gotta buy a car and all that.
On the bright side I did end up getting a decent job as a subcontractor for a cable company that I can walk to. Was a pretty nice stroke of luck considering I've no experience in the industry--though my graphics design work and computer skills did come in handy. (I'm mostly drawing maps and diagrams on a computer) Right now that's eating up most of the free time I used to have, and the paperwork and training leaves me pretty mentally drained at the end of the day. And just today I caught the flu! Hooray.
As far as the pack is concerned I think I'm just gonna have to call it dead for now until I'm able to and decide to revisit it. It's been nearly 2 years at this point without an update. And if you've noticed Kahr's also kinda been on hiatus, and we tended to work pretty closely on releases coinciding with major game changes that broke the previous stable versions of MCPatcher. Currently there's still some broken features that my pack has relied upon, so even if I had the free time, new computer, and drive, I still don't think I'd be able to update the pack enough to my satisfaction for a proper release at this point. It's unfortunate it's taken me so long to realize it's just not working out as I'd hoped, but real life has to take priority for me right now. Sorry if I've built up any false hope, it was never my intention to just string people along before being forced to throw in the towel.

Well, Congrats on the new job, and hope things work out going forward. I understand not wanting to commit to anything here at the time being, but we won't give up on ya meanwhile the patch that Les came up with has enabled us to keep using your texture pack, so we DO have something to tide us over while you get on with the business of living your life.
Hopefully you will be able to revisit it at some point soon, so just remember, that while you may have thrown in the towel for a while, there is one important fact that should not be overlooked.
Misa, have you ever made an actual texture of your own for the quiver in the past? Accdg. to a recent tweet from Dinnerbone, the quiver will finally have a purpose. From the looks of it, there'll be these diff. kinds of arrows to use, and the stack of arrows you want to fire must be placed in the quiver.
Hello everyone, I'm not sure when or if I might get an answer to this question, but I have been unanswered in other threads and I'm hoping that I'll be heard here. My question is this: Does the biome specific mob feature still work as is? I keep getting mobs that are skinned for particular biomes spawning in the wrong biomes. E.g. a snow camouflaged creeper spawning in the desert. One thing to note is that I'm using Optifine, so does this feature work only with MCPatcher or not at all? Also, is there a way to run MCPatcher and Optifine together while only using MCPatcher to use this feature?
Well, this is a little sad. Hope everything goes well, and I hope you don't have to let this pack die But you're right, IRL is more important, so good luck with your new job and things. This is still my favorite texture pack, and I hope you are able to begin working on it again. Hopefully things will work out a little better
Thanks Misa. You are a champ. In related news this reminds me of just how good your pack is. I hope you look at it with at least a little pride. Wishing you all the best!
don't get me wrong, I started using Misa's realistic because of Dataless822 and now i use data craft, but i still LOVE Misa's realistic, the the real point i made this:
Why does it say that Misa is not found 404, and if she left, why didn't she say anything about leaving, since now i use alternative patches for Misa's realistic, Misa, were ever you are, we miss you

cmdLP instead of providing an updated Misa, you should provide a link to Misa, and then your patch file, similar to how it was done by several other people already, and which have been mentioned numerous times in this very thread.
and not for nothing, but it's kinda offensive to put "download updated version of misa" in your sig in huge fonts, when you're talking about copyrighted material here that misa herself has not updated.

Ah, yeah that should've occured to me... doh. Thanks again for sharing all these, really great stuff

At least you know where your towel is. xD
well, technically it isn't dead, as Les's patch makes it perfectly usable under 1.8.x (I'm using it in 1.8.4 via MCPatcher, and it works just fine)
and again, for those of you who are late to this conversation and don't read back more than a page, you can Patch the Misa texturepack for 1.8.x (for the time being) with Les's or xDoodlebug's patches mentioned earlier in this thread: Misa's Realistic Resource [1.8] PATCH by Les (Updated 02 Nov 2014) and/or XDB's Misa Patch [1.8]
I basically just use Les's patch, so I have them installed (top down)

it's not dead if we don't let it die

Many thanks, Gooboobananas.
read back in the thread for Misa's stance on Optifine.
What I meant was did she make an actual quiver texture of her own in the past before putting the "LOL" quiver in her texture pack?

(patches for 1.8.x minecraft)
lescard60 http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/resource-packs/1245870-misas-realistic-resource-1-8-patch-by-les-updated
or
xDoodleBug http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/resource-packs/2255976-xdbs-misa-realistic-resource-patch-1-8-updated-26
(use one or the other, not both)
in the resource editor, you first install misa, then one of the other patches above it, so that it loads _after_ Misa's patch.
