Getting things ready for another version of the mod compilation. Trying to get the most recent textures from the various people working on this, and I'll probably give them a couple days to get back to me. Expect to see it posted Wednesday or Thursday.
As a side note, I want to make sure I know who all is working on retextures. Here's who I can figure right now, and what projects they're on: _Greenleaf_ - Forestry, ComputerCraft (completed), RedPower, Mo' Creatures (dropped) Mordus - Equivalent Exchange CuZnDragon - IC2 Dazqo - Clay Soldiers, Portal, Zeppelin (completed) torturran - Aether ksheep - Buildcraft, RailCraft, Weaponmod, Nether Ore (completed) Zeefu1234 - Language Pack
Please note, the list of mods being worked on may not be entirely accurate, being partly based on memory and partly on speculation.
I am also trying to get in contact with Lady Eternity, who said she had worked on a few retextures but has as of yet not posted them and has not given me explicit permission to include it in the pack. I'm hoping that she'll get back to me shortly.
If you are working on a retexture and would like to be included, please let me know. Also, if you see anything wrong in the above and would like to set me straight, don't hesitate to tell me.
EDIT: I should probably list all the textures I currently have a copy of. If you have made something that you don't see here, let me know.
Just as a heads-up to CuZnDragon (and whoever else is working on IC2), I took the liberty to add a reinforced glass, door, and stone, as well as the scaffold. Please see the most current block_0.png that I have. If you've made other changes since this, I'd be more than willing to add them.
EDIT: I also added the metallic generator side as the basic machine block top (2nd texture, top row), as that texture is used for the top and bottom of the Nuclear Reactor, as well as the sides of the solar generator. You may want to either use that texture as the basis for the basic machines, or rework the nuclear generator to fit whichever texture you have decided to use for that spot.

I did finish ComputerCraft, Forestry is almost complete (the block sheet is finished and some of the items are finished) and for redpower, its in "Beta" as im still getting ideas for it.

Managed to get the pics a bit larger (see above). Not all that familiar with tumblr for image storage, but I did find out that the last part of the URL is the size. Unfortunately, I can only find one with size 250 and one with size 500 through trial and error. There may be larger versions on there, I'm not sure.
Personally, I use ImageShack for photo hosting, as it's fairly straightforward. However, to each his own.
What exactly did you try to edit (I know rain but what else and how) because I have never had this problem with my Mac and I custom edit a lot of files.
I just applied using MCPatcher with HD stuff enabled and Randomobs... in 1.2.3.

Having a lot of fun with this - my foundry is still very much a WiP - a desert has been denuded, an entire ruin complex in the Nether has been stripped - the bricks carried away. Rivers and swamps have been dredged for their paltry amounts of clay....
I still have Nether brick to spare, but need to find several hundred clay to finish the furnaces.
A wonderful addition, my only worry is creepers....
ksheep please upload an updated mod texture pack, soo many texture previews in the last 3 pages that are just basic textures at present in my world

Should have a new version of the mod pack shortly, still waiting on a few of the new textures. In the meantime, I asked Tlos to help with the WeaponMod by making a few new textures for the guns, and he went above and beyond the call of duty, creating new textures for just about everything. I will include both versions in the download pack, so people can pick and choose, but I just wanted to thank him for all his help.

Wow! ksheep, Green, Tlos and others, you have been very busy...my thanks! The stuff you are throwing together is fantastic and very intriguing to a mod newby like myself.
I've been very busy with the family this week, moving my youngest to a new school, and as she's severely disabled it's taking up a lot of time to complete the transition and a lot of goodbye parties to attend, etc. I've also had a couple of commissions to finish off. But the Easter hols begins this weekend here in the UK, so I may (or may not, if we have fun days out!) have more time to finish the update of new wood planks and sandstone.
I hope to update today or tomorrow with something, but then if time allows, show more alternatives for planks, as I'm finding it very difficult to decide what would be more useful for the three new types, and perhaps you can help me decide.
Having already played with the temps torturran chose from my alts, I actually really liked his selection, particularly the thin slatted type which had a 'brassy' feel to it. I found it worked really well for suspended walkways with the brass window pane texture, so with a little editing I may keep that one in and replace the dark planking with some square panels (ala Jacobean/Elizabethan wall panelling) for useful variety in other building. But like I say, it's a difficult one and I'll just see what turns up to be more practical from all the alts I throw out.
I'm also working on some new graphics for the various headings in my OP.

I said three days, but I haven't finished the machines in redpower or array, it takes a while.
But I did say Ill send the files I do have so here is the [link]
and Ksheep I did the ores in forestry and redpower but they look like crap, could you take a look at them before you release the next version, I got the hue of the ore itself the right color, but the stone isn't like the regular stone. I use paint so its very hard to change the hue on certain parts of it if I want to do it all manually but I just changed the entire block with hue saturation, so If you could fix it that would be great.
I'll be sure to look at it this afternoon when I finish with class. Glancing over it now, it looks good.
MOD PACK UPDATE: I will be releasing the latest update for the mod pack later today. I think I've got everything that I will get anytime soon, and I just need to make a few tweaks to get everything to fit properly.
I still haven't heard back from Lady Eternity, so I'm not sure what's going to happen with that. However, Greenleaf's Redpower and Forestry textures are now up, Tlos updated the Weapon Mod items, and I have the latest version of IC2 ready. If I find the time, I may also work a bit more on Railcraft, but today will probably be too busy for me to do much in that sector.
