Sorry for the caps but this is important YOU NEED TO INSTALL IT IN C:\PROGRAM FILES OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT WORK.
This guy is a genius... thank you for being the ONLY one that actually had a fix to the problem...
If you guys are getting a "X" after "Testing for Code", and the program tells you that you need MCreator PE, IGNORE IT, even if you installed the correct MCP or followed any other fixes mentioned in these forums. You do NOT need Player Edition! Simply put your "pylo" folder (containing your MCreator folder, if you followed the tutorial) in Program Files. If you do not have your folder named "pylo", then I'm not sure how it'll work out.
Anyways, PUT THE FOLDER CONTAINING YOUR MCREATOR FILES INTO "C:/Program Files". This will somehow give the program the necessary stuff in order to function correctly.
If you've done this correctly, then the program should work and you should be able to start using it. Enjoy!

I don't blame you for being you,
but you can't blame me for hating it
For Me this does not work. I download following the link at the top. Then I take all those files and put them into a folder I created in the C: drive called "Pylo". Then I run the .exe and do all the stuff, but I get a big red x next to "testing for code". Please help, me and my pc would love to get this to work!!!
