Agreed (To the second part). I personally don't really see it as fair to those of us who do, I tried to use this software because I just wanted to check it out, it kept giving me errors (which happens with a lot of "easy" software for me) so I stick with code because it's more straightforward and it actually works. Btw, I can make a ruby ore in 5 minutes with eclipse & MCP... just saying
Me and my boyfriend are trying to learn code. Well I failed epically so I stopped. He's still trying but it's just going no where. How'd you learn? I haven't found any server type mods that added oodles of new items and I was hoping either me or him learning code could solve that problem. But like I said it's going slow. How long have you been working and studying code?

Not very long, a year at best. I usually study the decompiled MC modes and I just figure out what they mean and use them for making other items/mobs/etc. It's hard at first but eventually you get the hang of it

Do you need a clean minecraft, because I have a few mods in my minecraft.jar that I can't remove. MCreator is unable to decompile after opening the white cmd. I have minecraft 1.5.2 and using forge universal 7.8.0.684 by the way. The mods in my minecraft.jar is Player Api, Render Player Api, TooManyItems, Ferullos Guns, Biomes o plenty, and Rei's Minimap.
Is there any way to run this in Mac. I have spent about an hour or two trying to get it to open in WineBottler and Wine and it hasn't worked. I really want to get this to run. Can you guys start working on a Mac version please?
Thanks, -jhaynie123

Are you using MCreator 1.3.1 ? If so, you shouldn't be, because it's for 1.6.2!
Hey, so I am trying to make some ores and I finished, but when I go to test it, it can't generate the world. Anyone know the solution for this?
Did you tick the generate in world option while creating the mod? It might also be that you're just unlucky finding the ore... If that's not the case, this might be a major bug with MCreator
I'm using the one for 1.5.2. I have JDK7. I didn't have MCP, so I downloaded it and put it into the desktop so I can drag in the .zip. The System CMD said that forge install could not be found? My exact steps: I got MCreator and put the folder on my desktop, then, I downloaded and put MCP on my desktop to drag it into MCreator when it told me too. When it got to decompiling, it errored. I then cleared my minecraft of mods. When that didn't work, I got JDK 7. Still nothing. Is there anything special you need to do? I've already properly installed JDK 7. Help.

Throughout half of your report, honestly, I didn't understand. But one thing captured my eye. If you're going to need to clear all your previous mods, I say, clear them before you do all the installations. It's probably not going to work, so please don't blame me if it doesn't work.
So do I need to reinstall MCreator? I use MultiMC for modded minecraft but my actual minecraft is not modded. It says "could not find install.cmd" It's not there. Does mcreator 1.2.9.zip need to be in a certain area? It's on my desktop. What do I do about install.cmd?

no the world won't generate, it just stops on the building world screen.
My JDK isn't the problem.
it's the install.cmd vin the MCP;forge folder. I tried to open it, and it flashed white and immediatly quit. It won't open while setting up MCreator, either. I can't find the problem on google, either.

No longer active.

Wait.... What?
