I'm not sure if anyone else has problems with this, but it doesn't seem to be porting forge, is there a way to fix it? Nevermind, I just installed a earlier version.
However the version 1.1.8 is not working very well.. I cant really create anything with it without some sort of bug.. I tried creating a block with standard textures.. It wont compile 9/10 times even though i just use the predefined settings. I only change the texture to another vanila one along with material type to stone and make it generate in the world.. This will give me a compiler error..
And if i happen to successfully compile it, it will get stuck at "Building Terrain" when i try to start a new world.
The only time i have managed to make it work, was with a single item i added which i could then see when playing creative.. Worked fine.. But all other times i get compiler errors..
Can i use version 1.1.7 which is for 1.4.6 on my 1.4.7 Minecraft installation ?
Pretty much every 1.4.6 mod works with 1.4.7, so it should work.
Looks like a very interesting program. I would like to know if you can add dimensions (e.x Nether) and mobs. I would also like to know if this is compatible with "Forge Universal".

MCreator can't work D: and I cant get help from the forums cause they dont allow you to register.
They do allow you to register just register here first Pylo then put your login into the mcreator site, they WERE having some syncing problems between the sites but they fixed it
I seem to be able to create a block at least with the 1.1.7 version and use that mod in 1.4.7.. i also use MCP for minecraft 1.4.6 ..
However if i choose that the block should generate in the world, it compiles fine, but when the mod is run it will hang on "Building Terrain"
Something else is broken.. If i use custom sprite map the textures i add to this wont show in game.. But if i export the mod to a zip file and then load it up in 1.4.7 with magic launcher it works ..
Can someone tell me where i should put my custom sprite map in the folder structure of Mcreator for it to show in the test environment ?

It cannot add dimensions, and yes it is for Forge.
I know how to create it, problem is that the textures i place in it is not shown in the test environment. If i export the mod as a zip though and load it with magic launcher it works... Its like MCreator doesnt place the custom sprite maps in the correct path for it to work with the test environment
For now you should just export it to a zip file to test it, as for me mine freezes when trying to export it. Know anything about that i could really use some help.

MCreator is having a major problem regarding the testing of status code, I tried using MCP and normal coding but they both either didn't work or weren't useful. :3 Anyway, I tried the steps to fix it on the website and they didn't work, I think I did it 11 times with 1.1.8 of DE but I tried it on 1.1.7 and it still did not work, which seemed to show that most of their versions may not work for several, by several I mean majority : 3, users.
Well this is useful! I install it and whether or not I remove META-INF, I still get a black screen. I am pretty sure this is not the GUI I saw in the video. Please give instructions on how to install so it actually works.

You can make wood armor, stone armor, and you can make armor AND tools out of: dirt, glass, sand, lapis, redstone, obsidian, bedrock (Yes, you can mine bedrock with obsidianPickaxe, bedrock stuff is overpowered) AND MUCH MORE! As an added bonus, cooking bonemeal in a furnace will make eatable Bonemarrow)
