FAQ:
Q: Why isnt my "Play Minecraft" button working?!?!
A: In order for the Play Minecraft button to work your "Minecraft.app" or "MinecraftSP.app" must be located in your applications folder!
Q: Can I manually install a mod with Craft Injector?
A: Yes, while the program is running locate your hard drive and find the folder "CraftInjectorSaves" located inside of your HD and install mods from that folder.
Written with Asp.VB and some Objective-C, will be ported to windows and linux soon!
Nice. Any chance we'll see a Linux version of this?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Every moment, a thousand worlds are born; every moment a thousand worlds die. For what is a dream but a world, at once brief and eternal, alien and familiar to the mind?
Nice. Any chance we'll see a Linux version of this?
Working on that now! but I need beta testers running linux, my virtual machines run much to slow, if your interested heres the beta Linux build (Please get back to me if your interested)
The drag and drop feature doesnt work on my mac :sad.gif:
other than that i love this! makes it so much easier to install mods
Its not your mac!
I forgot to mention that feature was disabled in the current release because of bug, but its been fixed in version 1.3, coming out tomorrow!
Also, Ive added a clear mods function just in case you want to with a fresh jar/cleared list
Any ideas you guys have I will consider adding to the program.
Thanks Guys!
Nothing happens when I press play minecraft, i have tried both the folder in my minecraft app folder and just the files alone.
"folder in my minecraft app folder and just the files alone"
I dont understand the second part of that at all, but the play button just calls to open (via shell) any file under your applications called "minecraft.app" or "minecraftsp.app", thats its only function (so if its in a sub folder in there it will not work!) the only problem could be is that your minecraft is misplaced, renamed (or a bad fake copy).
Thanks dont forget to get the upgrade when you download 1.3!
Im hoping the next update (1.4) will have an auto-updater so you wont have to comeback/check the forum for updates!
This program is unusable for me on Mac OS 10.6.7 (Build 10J869, x86_64). There seem to be multiple problems:
[*:2cx3mjgh] Attempting to add a Zip crashes the program with a popup error window that says "An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down." No crash log is generated as far as I can tell.
[*:2cx3mjgh] The program is completely unresponsive for a little while after adding class files. It eventually comes back, but it hangs long enough to generate a .spin log (below)
[*:2cx3mjgh] It also hangs when reverting, but not long enough to generate a report.
[*:2cx3mjgh] The "Play Minecraft" button does nothing.
Also, the drawer behaves rather oddly. Attempting to resize it beyond its max width pulls the whole drawer away from the main window (after which it animates back again), and it's not possible to close the drawer completely.
Lastly, are you aware of Minecrafter? It does more-or-less the same job, but has a few more advanced features. I only mention it because it's been open sourced and abandoned by its original developer, and it seems a waste to just start from scratch! That being said, yours looks like it will be much prettier and simpler :smile.gif:

Yes ive seen/used Minecrafter, its got good preferences/options, but mind you this application is in beta stages, but your the first with a big error, its Interesting because im running the same build as you are. have you tried dragging classes into the app window to see if that changes anything? Also in order for the Play Minecraft button to work your "Minecraft.app" must be located in your applications folder. If you could help me beta test the would be awesome. (PM)
UPDATE: Ive gone around to about 6 different macs now and tested the app, seems to work perfectly, i managed to get the "An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled." error but only when I misplaced files on purpose, so ill put more error handlers in to prevent from any crashes in the next release. Thanks!
is there a way to tell if the updater is installed or no? i installed it anyways i dropped my 2 zipped mods into the right spot click on the arrow to launch minecraft i get into my game and my minimap is not there what am i doing wrong?

Did you check the FAQ at the top? "Minecraft.app" or "MinecraftSP.app" needs to be in "Applications" in your harddrive (where it should be)
http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1022&t=296083
Also, after I downloaded the update, the applications has no visible buttons. The window is still there and the buttons work, I just can't see them.
