Not sure if someone has asked this here - I looked on your site and it didn't seem to specify - but can you set it up so that there can be more than two teams playing (say 3-4?). I'm not on a server or anything but I'm designing CtF maps, and considering how well this works for CtF games I'm trying to design the maps to work completely with your plugin. :smile.gif:
Edit: To change the forum topic - like title and all that - just go to the edit option for the OP and click "Use Full Editor."
If you want to move it to a different section or something (though I'm pretty sure this is the right forum section for this) I think you can just "report" it and request that it be moved to the right spot. :smile.gif:
Hi everyone. Here's the long overdue new War release: War v1.7.1.
- New: Compatibility with Craftbukkit 1.1-R6, 1.2.3, 1.2.4 and 1.2.5
- New: Warzone config setting resetonconfigchanged is now available and false by default. This means /zonecfg and /teamcfg DON'T reset the warzone blocks anymore by default.
- New: Bomb carrier doesn't cause explosion if warzone has setting unbreakable:true
- Bugfix: Potion effects are properly cleared.
- Bugfix: Blockhead restoration shouldn't cause errors anymore.
- Bugfix: Attempt at stopping duplicate end-of-game and inventory reset problem. Please report back if your inventories don't reset at match end.
Also, note the new logo. Many thanks to @mphawey for the design.
I am trying to set up loadouts with Prot 2 armor and Sharp 5 swords. When the fight begins, everyone has their sharpness swords and start whacking on the other for .5 - 1.5 damage but the 2nd or third hit seems to kill them automagically. I have tested it on two accounts on my computer with sword swings and it seems that each swing has a chance of being the magic silver bullet on the other guy. This is unfortunate since we would like to use this for pvp practice with the gear we are restricted to on another server. Any ideas? I have no other enchanting-related plugins installed.
I am pretty high up on a server and am wanting to know if this can apply to a certain game we created because players constantly requested a game that involved mining and pvp...
The game: Players dig for their color of wool blocks in a designated dig site. Once all the blocks are obtained they are able to move on to the pvp zone (first team gets stuff in a chest). Once only one team stands the game is won. Here's an explanation video I made
From the video you made of War, I could tell that it separates players on to teams (I need that), tnt can be enabled (I need that), team members are recognizable by the wool head (i need that)... however I need to know if players can BREAK/PLACE all/no blocks with in the warzone... which is the last thing I need...
Another alternative is if WORLDGUARD overrides the players not being able to break/place blocks
If you could tell me that there's a way players can break/place blocks in the warzone that'd be great.
Okay I have a problem I hope can be fixed somehow. I have a Haunted Mystery House I made (its like a level 1 to this game I am trying to make) Anyways, in order to get through the level you need to find clues and stuff unlock doors and secret passages etc...
Anyways, I put the house in a warzone so that way when all the puzzles are solved and doors are opened and some or all the achievements found and the player finishes and leaves, the house gets reset back to its original save thanks to /zonecfg resetonempty:on
My problem is that I have LWC locking the doors and I can't get my Warzone to let players use commands like /cpassword <password> to unlock the doors. Is there a way around this? Please any help would... help lol
Could someone help me with a problem using this mod please? I'm probably being a noob but how do i solve this? War>Can't use items while still in spawn!! Its stopping me testing if the warzone actually works :S Any information that could help would be appreciated, cheers
All you need to do is walk out of the wool area. You can go back into the wool area and access chests n stuff. I have my Warzone at the top of Cinderella's Castle at my Disneyland map, the spawns are in the spires at the top of the castle and in those spires are chests filled with potions and weapons and stuff to help each team out with the battle. Its a small area (like 6x6) and with a 3x3 wool spawn it makes it annoying to have to step out and back into the spawn just to access the chests or furnaces or whatever.

You can make a quite a few teams. I have made a spleen championship with 6 teams.
