I know this is a truly minor issue, but does the wand have to be a wooden axe? It somewhat bothers me... :huh.gif:
If I were to choose among the other (non stackable) Items, I'd decide on less used items, such as the fishing rod or even better the cookey!

Tutorial
The idea (for the selection commands) is that you make a cube-like selection by choosing two points:
[*:2p1wbo7i]Type //wand to give yourself the wand
[*:2p1wbo7i]Left click a block with your wand (wood axe) to select point 1
[*:2p1wbo7i]Right click another block with your wand (wood axe) to select point 2
[*:2p1wbo7i]Type //set rock
[*:2p1wbo7i]Type //expand 2 up
[*:2p1wbo7i]Type //set glass
[*:2p1wbo7i]Type //move 1 up
[*:2p1wbo7i]Type /up 5
[*:2p1wbo7i]Type //walls brick
[*:2p1wbo7i]Type //set 0
[*:2p1wbo7i]Type /snow 5
[*:2p1wbo7i]Type //undo

This plugin requires Bukkit. hMod is dead, Bukkit is not done: sucks, doesn't it? There is also a hMod version available, although it is an old version of WorldEdit.
I would like to see the following additions or changes:
ATM Redstone repeaters and Pistons do not save position when copied, note blocks also do not save selection.
I would like to see a (disable-able) function so that you can copy a chest and it's contents will also copy. A useful tool on a server for relocating a storage area by copying, deleting, then pasting an area of storage to a new location. This should be limited however or make it so that if the selection is pasted elsewhere then the contents of the original chests are wiped.
I don't know if the previous or even the next suggestion would be possible to implement with the game code but since weather effects now are based upon biome, it would be handy if we could create, expand, or remove biomes in areas to control weather.
EDIT: Whoops, forgot the most important thing... AWESOME PLUGIN, world edit is your best friend when your beta-creative (non-survival) I recommend this to anyone wanting to build quickly and easily.
It would seem that copying noteblocks throws a severe java error. Looking at the missing function points to a missing function in bukkit but appeared when I tried a copy of a 6x2x9 area containing 3 noteblocks.
Server is running Bukkit 1060 and worldedit 4.6.

You should add a "Level Selection" command. I accidentally created a behemoth megolith of dirt (233x200x100 to be exact) while attempting to level a very large plot of land using a very roundabout string of commands and now I can't get rid of it because every time I have to select a slightly larger area each time in order to get everything, and anything bigger than that first area overloads the java whenever I try that same roundabout string of commands.
Or maybe not even a "Level Selection" command. Maybe just a "Delete Selection" command so I could delete the row and everything above it. Just something so I don't have to use a roundabout string of commands that overloads my java.
I really want (need) commands that support the datavalues. Some commands seem to ignore them silently.
//count wool:6
//replace wool:6 wool:9
Fixing the note block data value issues is also important.
I wanted to do a sequel to this video, with a series of animations/hacks on the redstone machine that I built in this model, but since there are 64 note blocks and about 9900 wool of many different colors, I've had to put off the project.
Why do no wildcards work in the permissions for me? I have tried various roots, worldedit.* (as well as worldedit*), worldedit.clipboard.* and none of them work. I have to type out every individual permission. Any assistance with this would be helpful.
I just did forestgen following a tutorial, then I realized I didn't want the forest in the first place D:
I tried undoing it, but "nothing left to undo showed up. Any way to remove it?
And the problem is that worldedit comands don't work on height higher than 128 or lower than 0.
Could you do a patch or make an advice how to solve this problem???

The dev version fixed the problem.
I tried to do apply a simple cuboid command such as "//set 98:2" which returned an error for me.
