Urg... I just see this as a work in progress. Sorry for ranting.

This is just to complex for my simple little brain.

As if NBT edit was any simpler...

What? So when pigs get hit by lighting, they suddenly develop into bipeds and receive brown leather skirts and golden swords from nowhere?

    Yes, Problem?
  • #43
Just wanted to let you know its working now so thanks!

Also to anyone saying this isn't needed because of NBTEdit try it, you will find that it is much faster and simpler to use plus it allows you to add items to empty slots without needing a placeholder.

And as a bonus its dead simple, if you can't figure this one out I'm surprised you can even boot up you pc...

    Anyways thanks again.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging

    For example:

    < jitDebugging="true" />

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    - New, Open and Save. You won't need these if you want to edit your game inventory.

@hakre1: Thanks for pointing that out :)

    @Kokuei: Let me guess ... 64bit? Nargh :/

That's not true, a lot of people made that mistake.

Also, I released an update again, which should fix the error Kokuei (and others) got because of the DLL. Seemingly there are also people who're having problems with updating the program. If it doesn't work for whatever reason, just redownload the full thing, which should fix it.
  • #48
Wow, very nice (again :tongue.gif:) copyboy, well done!
  • #49
wait does this work with the offline client?? becasuse i guess not because i keep getting this error
at system.Throw helper.throw key not found exception()
    at system.collections.generic.dictionary`2.get_item(TKey key)
    at NBT.TagCompound.get_item(strin

edit:wait all i have to do is click new then open then open from game in that order and it works
  • #50
@Wet: You don't. Just click "open from game". You won't need the other two.

NBTedit lets me alter my spawn and position. I'll stick to that.

NBTedit allows me to edit chest contents and that's the only reason I'm hacking. To get a tower full of chests full of stuff.

However this tool does seem to be more user friendly.

"User friendly" often means "less powerful" and/or "fewer choices." Not always, but often.
Exacly. Since you keep posting I figure you're done yet. Tell me, what's your problem?
If you don't like it, can't you just use something else and stop trolling?
  • #55
Done. Previous posts edited for relevance.

Got this when trying to "Open from game"
ran with Mono on Ubuntu 10.04 32 bit
    Minecraft Name: KakashiSuno

I'm known as Kakashi, Kaka, KS, and the Coal Ninja =)
  • #57
That's a problem which only occurs in/with mono.
I'm starting to wonder if it only occurs when ReadByte is called ... will try to fix it as soon as possible.
  • #58
I cant even find my inventory. the only files in the world* folder is level.dat and opening that has no inventory.

  • #59
The quick load (Open from game dropdown) doesn't work?
  • #60
All i could find was level.dat, although i think my inventory got reset somehow. eitehr way ive sorted it now.
