pick up the amourer's workshop mod, you can do alot with that, including removing the armor from displaying while still having the armor on.

No, it shouldn't all you to see your skin, as that's not what justin bailey ever did. What it did was allow you to play as samus without her suit e.g. zero suit, but you still were able to use all the abilities.
after playing the mod for so long, i found some bugs, stuff to point at, and had some suggestions for it, so here comes!
BUGS
1- Dark beam charged shot makes the same sound as a normal shot
2- unless you are wearing a light suit, dark aether CONSIDERABLY slows you down, and makes jumping really hard
3- even when wearing the light suit, the danger meter reaches its max when you walk outside a safe zone (you dont take damage though)
4- going underwater in dark aether blurs your vision, even when a light suit is active
5- if your suit is deactivated outside a safe zone in dark aether then reactivated, you will still be in an animation as if you were taking damage
6- even though dark aether is dark, monsters still have a day/night cycle where they will not spawn in day time (weird)
7- when shooting beams and missiles while inside a lava pool, the projectile will burn
8- projectiles have way too big of a hitbox, making it harder to shoot something downward when you are on a ledge, or shooting something between 2 blocks
9- when you go to a galacticraft world, your character says that they need a frequency model to be able to hear, its just a text though
10- tinker construct ores spawn in dark aether with a stone background, instead of dark stone background
11- mobs with a height of 1 block are not vulnerable to lock on feature, since it locks at 1 block higher than their hitbox
12- speed booster and screw attack damage does not make passive mobs attack you (endermen, zombie pigmen), and does not make sheeps, cows, etc flee
13- when pausing the game or opening the minimap in single player, the metroid music stops playing
14- when mining underground the music keeps changing if u go to another biome (even though you are underground)
STUFF TO POINT AT
1- ice beam and dark beam are able to freeze bosses forever if u keep shooting charged shots, which is lame
2- light crystal ore and iron ore is almost impossible to see with the x-ray visor while in dark aether (and hard to distinguish them)
3- aether has no chozo ores as well as dark aether (maybe it is intended idk)
4- none of galacticraft's worlds are rewarding to go to, since mc3 stuff are superior, (and more fun) to use than GC,
5- ice spreader and super missiles do not home, even with lock on
6- dark beam is a better ice beam, plasma beam is a better light beam
7- the mobs config file doe not list mobs under the "fire,dark,ice,light" categories, yet in the game dark monsters does not take damage in dark aether etc., explain?
8- if possible, provide a list of which monsters already registered to which attribute
9- missile expansions are hard to make
10- the suit effect particles are annoying (can be removed if particles are disabled, but it also disables other cool stuff)
11- dark visor is cool but useless
12- echo visor is cool but useless, maybe ur planning something for these 2 visor?
13- we have limited sight while in the gunship, because the glass is too small to see anything
14- although not your mod's problem, minimap mods overlay the missile part of the hud
SUGGESTIONS
1- remove the blurr effect from the x-ray visor
2- make the purple background a little more transparent in the thermal visor so we can see where are we walking
3- ice beam and dark beam no longer freeze bosses, only ice spreader can, and has a cooldown before the boss can be frozen again
4- only a FULLY charged dark beam shot can freeze mobs, half charged cant
5- when light burst impacts a hard block, it creates a safe zone for 5 sec
6- instead of implementing the upgrade removal, make a new button in the logbook to enable/disable upgrades without removing them
7- an in-game method of choosing what block the x-ray visor shows, as well as choosing its color
8- an option to modify beam fire rate
9- a way to replenish power bombs, like missiles and energy
10- when the suit energy hits 0 and the player is forced into the zero suit, the player cannot get back into the power suit until he reaches atleast 99 energy (the energy should be visible when wearing the zero suit
11- and option to modify how vulnerable fire mobs to ice beam, dark mobs to light beam etc.

NONE of the phazon spreads. It was quite overpowered in MC2 and thus removed. It can only be harvested using a silk touch pickaxe of diamond level or higher - and takes a little while to mine.
Is it possible to use hex color codes when configuring the x-ray blocks for the mod? Im not sure what format it's using for the colors right now since both RGB and decimal give me completely different colors to what I set with those.

I'd think the zero suit could be its own password where justin bailey completely hides the armor and zero suit.

after playing the mod for so long, i found some bugs, stuff to point at, and had some suggestions for it, so here comes!
BUGS

1st: Sneak (or shift) to charge up
2nd:look the way you want to launch
3rd: Jump
And then if you want to stop shine sparking press shift again. Cool Right
this is not a mod feature FWI, it's a suggestion. Just so you don't go trying and wondering why it doesn't work.

No, but you'll find it's not too hard to get phazon on tallon iv if you use an industrial grade pulse beam.
