I have 450+ mods, and even with this mod, I still get a crash report saying there is not enough ID's. Is there any way to increase the ID limit by like a couple thousands?

id of what? this mod increases id limit only for blocks and items =(

So what I am trying to say is that even though this mod is loaded up into Minecraft Forge, it is still not working. Here is the error message:

Sadly it is actually not possible to extend potion ID's (I just found out) SPacketEntityEffect sends the ID as a byte, allowing only 256 ID's available.
So then the solution is a separte mod for the biome IDs. Those with the biome ID extender wouldn't be wanting to join a vanilla server anyway.
That said, if you're installing ANY mod, even this one, you wouldn't want to be joining a vanilla server anyway so this reasoning makes no sense.
It's alot more complicated then that and if elix_x didn't have so much stuff to do in real life he would have finished it hopefully
Yes if you have so many mods going to a vanilla server would result in server disconnect or a plain out crash on client and or server

Are there any backporting plans? The idea of a 1.6.4 modpack with IdfixMinus and NotEnoughIds is kinda hot.
It would also be plain fun except for the mods that are hardcoded for some things.
(Hopefully this isn't necroposting, as the last post is from 2019)
