i have alot of the general warp core and protocol block completed, it looks promising. i just have a few more things to fix up and i might be able to release an early finish. sorry this is taking so long, i only started fixing it yesterday.

Well, i got it to work....ish. The game crashes when i jump, but the blocks are placed properly. now i just need to make it so it copies the tile entities too.

Good news everyone! I have it working, however the ship will not work with a computer on it, which makes it kinda difficult since it relies entirely on the computer. I will fix this problem in the future, however until then, i will make a GUI so that the ship is usable. Keep your eyes open for the early release!

I have a suggestion if your remaking this mod. It would be nice if it did not require IC2. maybe if it had its on power sources that could be use if did not want IC2. Like plasma core, singularity power core, or eezo mass drive. I just think it would be nice if it did not have so many dependency. Just an idea take it or leave it.
I believe he doesnt want to have any other mods to fly this ship, as in using the dependencies for recipes and power and such. I believe he wants the mod to be completely able to support itself, other than relying on other tech mods. I myself think that having to get iridium and about 4 advanced curcuits among other things is outrageous.

I for it to have power options of its own. It fine if using IC2 power was an option but not required. ic2 is a big mod and as such and adds a lot of things you don't realy need. as for power source I named they were all from syfi tv shows and video games. Like Star Trek, SG1 or Mass effect. Thoult they might fun ideas.
I think that he will be working towards some cool quantum energy drive with cryogenic coolant. i dont know all the sciency bits anyway but as a port top 1.7 he still has alot of work ahead of him, and new features wont really be being supported until hes in the later age of coding.

right now im mostly working on the new gui. After that, i will try to tackle the power sources. However, i do agree that a grat power souce is needed. Maybe ill add a zero ore that will power the ships warp core. I will say that i have made it so that you can control your ships warp from 64 blocks away from the warp controller using a new block called the warp navigator.

For the record, Universal Electricity died 4 months.

actually, the 1.6.4 verstion does require ic2, and it has never been compatible with universal electricity. As for ue dieing, i don't at all believe that.

If you are reworking the mod (which I hope you got permission for, LemADEC doesn't seem too happy about it), Adding power sources is a nice touch but please make them sufficiently advanced to match the rest of the mod.
For example: fusion reactors, matter/antimatter reactor, Electro-plasma generators etc.
Also, I have no idea about your coding skills, but shields would be nice...

The author of the mod has been inactive for many months
just remember that a gui can only have so much definition. i wouldnt make it biger than a double chest gui. the image file has to be 256 by 256 pixels
