Psst guys, I got adventurecraft to work, playing the Zelda map again, after years of waiting :')
I feel like a semi-traitor to TaleCraft for saying this, but I was ALSO able to use the tutorial to get AC working again, with the old maps fully functioning and everything! (No java downgrade required!) Of course, AC was done being worked on so you can only build maps with the current capabilities -- whereas with TC, Longor is still working on updating it -- but it's still a great nostalgia trip! (Plus I can maybe work on my old maps again, instead of starting from scratch...)
Also, not sure if there is TC progress to update, but if I can, I'll hopefully go back to the TC wiki and update it at some point.. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.. sorry
I'm not abandoning TaleCraft, but being able to play AdventureCraft is certainly a good way to pass the time and use as an appetiser.

Now I can actually spend time working on Talecraft, for the next two weeks, then its back to endless stress.
I didn't get to work on TC for ~5 weeks now, so its time to close chrome/firefox, drink a whole bottle of coke and get back to work on something that I can truly have fun with.
Note: The main reason I can't work on TaleCraft is that I need at least 5 hours of non-interrupted time to do get anything done at all. Getting around Minecraft's code takes a lot of time (the code is just chock-full with edge cases).
So... back to work!

This is NOT a installer. This is the mod packaged as jar-file. You need to install the version of Forge given in the update-post and then put the jar-file into the 'mods' folder in your .minecraft folder. You could also just use one of the many launchers out there that automate this kind of thing.

I guess my subscription for this thread was removed, cause I don't get any updates when I'd like to.
So hopefully by commenting I'd get it back.
Also, it's nice to see you're making progress! Progress is what every mod maker wants to see.

Сan you add, block or something, so that when you click on the door to play such music, conclusions tex.
Example:
"This door is closed and will not open without a key". Or when you click on the picture, too, displays the text.
That is, as a trigger, but only when the player clicks on the object
