OT: If you read above, everything you mentioned has previously been addressed.
Edit: “Like Alexander the Great and Caesar, I’m out to conquer the world. But first I have to stop at Page 36 and pick up some supplies for my Hoy. ” (I just said pageclaim in a fancy way.)
Yeah, i spell like a crack baby, out of excitement i didnt run it through any sorta spell check like i should of. I guess i missed it. My main point was to point out chest size for diffrent ships and what not but if it was already talked about, then my bad. Was also pointing out other mods that go great with this awesome mod
though you have to change the key config for "M" so you can still tell your minion’s what to do.
You can customize the command keys via the regular options->controls menu... but I'm open to changing the default (M & N) keys if it makes it easier for everyone.
I haven't seen that problem in a while... which boat? And, could you send me a copy of your world?
Unfortunately I created it to test the mod, once it didn't work I deleted it. Fortunately, I used the same seed and am having the same problem. How do I send a world to you?
I like the 2 separate chests my self, makes it feel more like your storing stuff in diffrent parts of the ship
I wasn't terribly concerned about the size (number of items in) the chests. They're split in the Whitehall because I was building out the initial implementation, and it seemed to make sense to have multiple chests if you were carrying multiple people.
I added chests to the Hoy just to make it useful, but it really should have a cargo hold. How do you access the cargo hold? I don't know yet... which is why the Hoy has chests.
There's been some discussion about cargo loading and unloading earlier in this thread, and I have a few ideas, but it's a pretty low priority right now. The basic idea is that chests are accessible as you would expect, but the cargo hold is just for transport; you can load it and unload it, but you can't get at it while underway. Think of it as a manifest: 2 chests of iron ore, 4 chests of coal, 2 chests of dried pork, etc. It's in the hold, but it's all crated up and lashed down, so you can't get at it until you unload it.
WRT chests on warships vs merchants -- warships will have hold space dedicated to powder, shot, and shell, and likely won't have any cargo space to speak of (although there will be a few chests for the officers). Merchants will have cargo space but will have to give up cargo space to store powder and shot.

Zip it, then upload to MediaFire or DropBox or some other file sharing site and PM me a link to it.

I just set my chest keys to "B" and "N" seems to work pretty good with out moving buttons to much.
I should probably go reread further back in the forum to double check if this was talked about as well.. but just in case it was not. Back when I rolled a Ship on the seas with Zeppelin mod. I used to dedicate a small part of my hold to a fenced in spot to keep live stock for those long sea voyages. Nothing like a food supply you can harness without going to land for a long time. I would love to see a ship that has room for one or two animals to be loaded in. If it’s not to troublesome of an idea. Maybe something to keep in mind when you start working on the ship holds.
It probably was at sea Level, because it was in a ocean-biome (Ultimate Ocean, from a mod, but still, Ocean).
But: Its working now! I think it was some sort of temporary bug that appears when you first load the bug.
Got it. Tried it, I'm jumping in and out at the same place (although jumping out doesn't push you far enough to the side, and you get stuck on the collision box... will have to fix that).
Try turning off your other mods and see if you still have the problem.
Well I've only noticed a couple of problems in the mod that I've had problems with. firstly idk if this is my fault or not but the Hoy does not have a texture when held in hand or in inventory and when I exit a ship I sometimes either get stuck or appear far away from the ship in the water. Overall though great app works great for the island city I am making.
Yeah the Hoy boat does not have a texture currently! and the same thing as well for me like Snow. when i press f .... or right click not sure. i am stuck outside far away from the boat. O:
AMAZING WORK THOUGH YOU MAKE OCEANIC MODS AND ADVENTURE MODS FOR THE SEA FUN AT LAST!!!!

I loaded Forge (obviously), Optifine, and Small Boats That's it. The boats functioned as intended (I was getting in and out). Except the Hoy. As you said, I think I'm stuck in a collision box. I get stuck on top of it, not far away. I turned on each of my mods one at a time. By that I mean at all times I only had Optifine, Small Boats, and one other mod. I had the original problem with ALL of them. As soon I removed all but Small Boats, it worked fine (except the hoy). I don't know, I'm pretty much done with it right now. It was a nice concept, but I don't know. I'm at a loss.

Just go in creative and fly out of it. Thats what I do.
It comes from a game called 'Pirate of the Burning Seas'
It has been, and always will be my flagship. It does hold as much sentimental value as a ship in a virtual colonial navy game can. Without it, I won't be content. (This is a fancy way of me requesting: How do I model one of these, good sir?)

This is the vary kind of ship I hope for from this mod down the road. Big, scary, powerful, yet beautiful. Lots of top deck space to run about and even fight on should another ship get close enough to board you… at least that’s something I would like to see in a SMP game… not only could you fire cannons at each other… but maybe you just want to steel the ship its self. So ram the ship head on and have your crew board it. Break out your bows and diamond swords to duke it out like pirates of old xD
P.S. an attachable ram/iron spike to go on the front of a ship would be awesome for this vary purpose.

Sounds like a mod conflict.
Hmm... another possibility -- was the water higher or lower than sea level?

I sent you the link in a message. Hope it helps!
Weird.
Looks like the Punt collision box is borked... I'll check it. Doesn't happen with the Whitehall or Hoy.

I do know of a few concerns/questions that should be addressed if they havent already:
