Finished coding in water consumption earlier today (SaltWater and Purified/FreshWater) as well as salt water's negative effects. I am going to begin basic food consumption and bleeding now.

Sure, We'll have one 42 Slot server avaliable for play on, PVP on and Hour long Deathbans to keep the server open for players. We aren't ready to have the server running due to us still needing to add Ghillie Suits, Kevlar Armour and Guns. Just watch this post or subsrcribe to my youtube to keep up to date. We're going to spend most of this week trying to get it ready and hopefully we will have some sort of Test run within the next few weeks.
The mod will eventually distributed as a whole minecraft.jar due to custom textures modding that I dear might conflict with other mods. Also the ease of simply replacing the .jar file as a players only required installation seems most appealing.
You are not allowed to distribute the minecraft.jar or .minecraft as it is illegal. So if I were you, I would stick to the normal installation.

We'll probably release a Test version soon I would guess once we get into the Later Alpha Stages

It'll have it's own custom Launcher for you to use that will create it's own seperate .dayM folder to keep everything nice and organized.

I got the metal chests to render exactly how I want them (after hours of searching through code until realizing that I had to create a special render) only small problem is that they will re-lock upon reloading the world (they still successfully store items as chests), my new solution is to create a key ring which players can carry which will hold data on chests that the player is considered to "own". That way players can lock and unlock containers for temporary storage. This will most likely be an ssp implementation only, a new system may be adopted for smp.
FIXED: In SSP when players unlock a chest, that chest will now be saved in a file. Upon loading chests will be re-unlocked if they are in that file.

Are there alternatives such as Custom Launchers?
You can make custom launchers, just as long as you don't give off the minecraft.jar.

Fixes: The rope is now textured and working properly.
I'm currently looking into structure components and adding light to items.
Anyone any good with Entity/Texture Making we need a campfire..
