hey guys new model picture going up either tonight or tomoro. finishing up the details on it at the moment. Iv been working on it for a few days straight, you'll see why it took so long once you see the picture. im just finishing up the model then ill do the skin then ill post a picture for you guys :D, btw guys did you have a look at the decideuous trees in our snapshot they are probably one of my favourite trees at the moment ( im still a huge fan of the savannah, i just love everything about that biome, the trees the ground the animals everything but the decideous is rapidly becoming a close second.) spawn a few decideous trees and you'll quickly see why they are one of my favourites
Thats the only mob that spawns in the mod at the moment, we have got a tonne more coming. That was only so you could have a taste of what is coming up and get excited about it, if you go into creative mode there are a few other things in there that are fun to use
I am greatly looking forward to a wider variety of trees.
We really need to get a couple Maples up. They have several gorgeous colors and would look great in the Deciduous biome and occasionally beside rivers elsewhere. Also the Weeping Willow, of course.

hey guys sorry for the late post iv been so busy lately but i finally have a free week so first of all here is the redone rhino.
firstly the original ( the one you would have seen if you have played the old versions of the mod)
this was one of the first models we ever recieved made for us by whatsamagiga back in november of last year. We are going to keep using it as it is amazing and so cute, its only just a bit small so we will use it as the baby rhino instead when we get to that stage. so i did a remake of the rhino, this one is called the Black Rhino and here it is.
what do you think? if you look at the wooden block underneath it that gives you a rough idea of the scale but if your curious as to how it will appear in the game. at its shoulder its about 3 or 4 pixels shorter than steve is so the is going to be about the same size in real life.
anyways what are your thoughts on it? i hope you like it. Now as a sneak peak as to what im working on at the moment im now remaking the anteater i make at the very beginning at the very of the mod so it is rather bad.

yeah sorry about that we are all working really hard on it. im currently still working on the anteater model which is really complex at the moment. its starting to look really good though and battlefield is working on the recode at the moment, getting the zoo dimension up and running with the implimentation of biomes at the moment

You can. But you need to have made a model in techne and its skin. You then upload it into the entity builder and then you can set the characteristics of it. I havent checked out the newest version yet but im pretty sure it will be the same with that one too. Im happy to give a tutorial if you like?

A tutorial would be nice. I'm familiar with the models, and used the zombie model as a test.
Wow. I am really excited about this mod. Several of the friends I play MC with were HUGE fans of Zoo Tycoon and will be super excited when I tell them about this.
Hope there are ways to interact with the animals! Like cleaning up poo, maybe healing sick, etc.. all the fun stuff from ZT2! xD

I really like the concept of the mod. I'm sure I'm going to model some time, for the DD side of things.
